Sunny Studio Stamps Blog Hop

Hello there everyone!
You must came from a super talented Nichol's blog, it's always fun to do a blog hop. It feels like strolling around in a virtual gallery, well..that's how I feel. Sunny Studio Stamps have a group of amazing designer for this Birthday Blog Hop..woohoo! I hope you stop by on every blog to see lots of ideas and inspirations. Sunny Studio is offering 15% off all purchases to the online store using the code "SUNNYBIRTHDAY" through Monday, August 15th at midnight PST.
Don't miss the chance to grab all the new release!

For my card today, I'm highlighting Autumn Splendor stamp set, it's a builtable stamp. It means that you layer each stamps to create one whole image. You can use the same ink color or another shades of them. Because when you stamp twice with the same color, you will have a slightly darker color than the first generation stamp. But if you ask me, I prefer to use different shade of colors (light green and a darker one for example). All the ink I'm using are dye inks, they dry fast and what I love most about them are the subtle colors.

Start with a 4"x5.25" panel of Neenah solar white extra smooth cardstock, stamp all the leaves, acorns and berries randomly. Layer the stamps one by one to create shadows and details. They are efortlessly gorgeous! Don't you think so?
The squirell is from the new release Woodsy Creatures, he is peeking from the back of the banner. I stamp it with Versafine Onyx Black ink on a watercolor paper and color it with Distress Markers. Have I mentioned that I love the handwritting style sentiments from Autumn Splendor? I think they are so beautiful, I wish my handwritting as good as that. I blend some Tea Dye Distress Ink for the fist tail banner before I stamped the thank you sentiment.
Here's a close up look of my card..

The next stop is Suzy Plantamura, you will love her creations..I'm one of her fans as well! Or in case you're lost, you can find the full list of the Birthday Blog Hop on Sunny Studio Blog.

And make sure you leave a comment and your email address on every stop for a chance winning $20 gift voucher from Sunny Studio. YES, you can splurge it on the online store. There's sixteen chances to win this giveaway..I mean SIXTEEN! Bigger chance for you, I wish you luck. :)
