Spring Friends Make Good Times Better

Hello crafty friends! Lexa here with a card show casing Easter Wishes stamp and it's coordinating dies. This set probably one of my favorite on the new release. It's not only perfect for Easter cards but also looks good for an everyday card just like I made today.

First, I stamp all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. These cuties are hanging out in the flower garden in spring time, I also add those rosy cheeks for them. I blend some green dye ink for the ground, also mask some Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick Distress Inks with a polkadot stencil for the background. It looks so sweet. As I want to make a friendship card instead of Easter's card, I choose a sentiment from Friends & Family stamp set to go with the critters.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful day!

MFT Sketch Challenge 317 : Owl Friends

Hello crafty friends. I'm so glad to be back again with one last card for MFT Challenge & Inspiration this month. It's a pleasure to be a guest designer for an awesome huge brand like MFT. I hope it won't be the last time.. ;) Let's take a look at the sketch 317 first.

The best thing about sketch challenge is, the shapes you see on the sketch don't always have to be an exact shape on your card. As what I did with this sketch, I replace all the rectangles with adorable owls from I'm Owl Yours stamp set. They are holding an arrow and a heart on one owl. I think it will be a sweet Valentine's card for your beloved one, it doesn't always have to be your lover..it could be your favorite friend. I keep the background toned down with a white on white Birch Tree Die-namics so my owls keep stand out.

Here's a closer look of my card, I love all the dimensions happen here.

Once again, thank you MFT for having me the whole month. And thank you guys for stopping by today, I always love to hear from you. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Hoppy Valentine's Day

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with an inspiration using the brand new Froggy Friends stamp and coordinating dies. I made a Valentine's day card, is it a little bit too early?

I start with a piece of 4.25"x5.5" white cardstock and blend some Tumbled Glass (for the water) and Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed (for the sky) Distress Inks. I stamped all my images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with both Distress Markers and Kuretake Clean Color Real Brush. This card actually a flat shaker card, I use a piece of vellum to create the pond. Before that I place the lily pad and stamp the ripple with blue dye ink. I add some flat heart sequins behind the vellum, it looks much prettier in real life. These froggies have matching bow and bowties, aren't they adorable?

That's all for today, I hope you like my card as much as I do. Have a wonderful day!

MFT Sketch Challenge 316 : You Are My Otter Half

Hello everyone! I'm back again with another card for MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge today. I always love how the sketches bring you so many possibilities, the limit is only your imagination.

I create a shaker card with a brand new Die-namics Abstract Heart as the window, I use vellum instead of acetate this time. An early valentine's card is irresistable because of this ultra cute BB Otterly Love You, these little guys are adorrrable! I watercolor all my images with Distress Markers (my favorite medium,no doubt). I replace the fishtail banner on the sketch with a cropped water to complete the scene also a space to stamp my sentiment, "you are my OTTER half" ...oh I'm swoon!

Here's a closer look of my card..
I add glossy accent on the red heart to make it looks more puffy. And some clear sequins to finish my card. I really love how it turns, I hope you do too!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I wish you an awesome day.

Backyard Bugs Thanks A Buzzillion

Hello everyone! I'm up on Sunny Studio's blog today with an inspiration for you next spring. I'm using last year collection called Backyard Bugs and it's so adorable. To represent spring, I choose to be more colorful for this card. A happy card that will make anybody's day!

I started with a piece of 4"x5.25" white cardstock and blend Squeezed Lemonade,Spun Sugar and a little bit of Worn Lipstick Distress Ink in the bottom. I stamped all the images with black Versafine ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. Then I cut the hill from green cardstock for the flower's ground. The flowers have different colors. They are so pretty that even the bugs are gathered around them. I also add yellow sequins on the center of the flowers, it adds more dimensions. Which one is your favorite bugs? Mine are the ladybugs, tiny and super cute.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

MFT Sketch Challenge 314 : Out Of This World

Hello crafty friends! Happy new year to you and your beloved ones.
I have a big news to share with you all that I will be guest designing for MFT Challenge & Inspiration Blog!! Woot! I'm beyond happy and excited for this month. You know that I love to take a participation on this challenge everytime. What a great way to start a new year, really. So here's the first sketch for this month.

I follow the sketch and attach pretty tight with it this time. I create a window that will take you to another galaxy. I cut the window and make a background by blending Black Soot, Tumbled Glass, Seedless Preserves, Shaded Lilac Distress Inks and finished it with white ink splatters. I also add some clear Wink Of Stella to make a stardust in the night sky..it's so pretty in real life. I tried my best to show you with a detail photo below. I watercolored all my images and cut it with the coordinating dies. I keep the color scheme as I want it. The sentiment is heat embossed with silver embossing powder on an eggplant cardstock. For an extra fun, I add googly eyes for the aliens and glossy accent on some parts.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I wish you an awesome day!

Cruisin By To Say I Love You

Hello everyone. First, I would like to say Happy New Year to all of you and your beloved ones. Thank you so much for everyone who always support me and encouraged me to do all the things that seem impossible at first, but hey..here I am now. Me and all the talented ladies from Sunny Studio Stamps are having a blog hop with LOVE theme. Do you think is it too early for a Valentine's day card? :)

I created an interactive slider card with a sweet couple strolling around the street from Sock Hop stamp and it's coordinating dies. I start with a piece of 4"x5.5" white cardstock and blend some green ink for the grass. I also use some tree dies to complete the scene. I mix the sentiment both from Sock Hop and Fresh & Fruity to create a lovey-dovey one. This card is so easy to make and so much fun. Here I want to show you a closer look and more details of the card.

I hope you love it as much as I do. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
