Three Sweet Scoops of Ice Cream

Hello again everyone! Today I'm going to share two cards featuring Two Scoops Stamp and it's coordinating dies. I pair it with some other stamp sets and see how they work well together for my cards. Warning! This super sweet stamp set is so addictive and make you craving for some ice creams instantly so beware ladies. ;)

The reason why I made two cards instead of one just like I usually did is simply I can't stop stamping them in different colors. Some kind of experiments. I find it easier to use a stamping tool for layering stamps just like this one. For the first card, I choose a classic combo of ice creams with vanilla, chocolate and strawberry with the cherry on top. I dry embossed the white background to give it some textures while keep the background simple so the three scoops of ice cream will be the star. I die cut Sweet Word Die on hot pink cardstock and white embossed the "birthday wishes" from Sweet Shopee Stamp on brown cardstock. Two think pieces of polkadot patterned paper (looks like rainbow sprinkles on chocolate sauce to me), one on each side.

And for my second card, I also use dry embossed on white background but this time the pattern is polkadots. This time is a little bit more colorful than the first one. I blend Squeezed Lemon and Wild Honey Distress Inks on the bottom part to create an ombre look. Three portions of soft ice creams are never too much.. oh, I'm very enjoying this because I feel less guilty just by staring at them! ;)

To match the curve I use a banner from Sunny Borders Stamp and fill it with the sentiment from Color Me Happy Stamp. This card will make anyone's day brighter! Last but not least, I add some sparkling clear sequins in various sizes around the ice creams. Can you guess what's the flavour for each colors? They are my favorite, while stamping this I have particular flavours in mind... they are strawberry, matcha (japanese green tea), sea salt (yep, it's trending now in my country) Yum!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you guys like them as much as I do. Have a great day everyone!

Sunny Studio Birthday Fishes

Hello crafty friends! Lexa here today with a fun slider card featuring Ocean Of Joy Stamp Set and it's coordinating dies. The sweet adorable whale from this set is swimming around the school of fish. To create an underwater scene using this stamp set sounds so tempting for me.

I started my card by blending some blue Distress Inks for my background, I use Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire in ombre technique. You know that it gets darker depend how deep the ocean is. But the deepest ocean here is not scary at all, you can find an adorable little crab and some starfishes too. I combine Ocean Of Joy with Magical Mermaids Stamp to complete my scene with some corals and sea plants. I stamp all my images with black Versafine ink and watercolor them all with Distress Markers. I love all the sea creatures to bits, each of them are so cute and adorable with the smiley faces.

I love to add some details to my cards, such as glitters and glossy accent to add some dimensions. Some pretty sequins complete my card as the bubbles in this scene. Here are more pictures to show you all the details...

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I really hope you like today's inspiration and can't wait to see more you can do with this stamp sets. I hope you all have an amazing day!

It's time to showcase my card for this hop, featuring some of the Pretty Pink Posh new release.

I use all three Scallop Hexagons Dies to create a layout on my 4.25"x5.5" white card base. I inked up every pieces with Distress Inks (Mustard Seed, Worn Lipstick, Salty Ocean, Abandoned Coral). All the images are stamped with black Versafine ink and watercolored with Distress Markers. The adorable bees from Bee Friends are flying around the spring flower garden, the flowers are from Bold Blooms and the stems are from Bee Friends.
To create a diversity each hexagons have different scene, for the pink one I created a shaker window using some pretty Springtime Sequins Mix which is perfect for this card. On the smallest hexagon I did a tone on tone solid heart stamping to create pattern. One of my most favorite stamp from this release is Thoughtful Greetings Stamp... why? Because you can mix this one with ANY stamp sets you have. It's truly a-must-have especially if you love to put sentiments on every cards you made, just like I do.

Swimming By To Say

Hello crafty friends!
Lexa here with a card featuring my favorite stamp set from the new release, Magical Mermaids. I always have a thing when it comes to magical creatures. No wonder that my favorite Disney's classic movie is The Little Mermaid, I looove mermaids since then.

I start my card with a piece of 4.25"x5.5" watercolor paper, I create the background with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor palette. It has so many vibrant colors, the pigmentation is amazing. To create a magical ambience I choose blue and purple for the under the sea scene. I also paint some seaweeds and corals to complete my background. I stamp all my images with black Versafine ink and color them with Distress Markers, after I finished with the coloring I use the coordinating dies and my Big Shot to die cut them all. I paired Magical Mermaids with Ocean of Joy, it perfectly compliment each other in case your mermaids need some sea friends. ;)
.

The shaker card is always my favorite kind of interactive card, the sound of the beads are delightful. I also attached the purple octopus in the middle with a string so that it can wiggle around when you shake the card, it so much fun!

I really love how this card turns out, I'm so excited to see what you've created with this pretty mermaids. Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you all have an amazing day.
