Spring Greetings

Hi everyone! Lexa here to share a card I made that highlighting both Spring Greetings Stamps and the coordinating dies. It's a sweet 2x3 stamp set that has two little bunnies and a tulip. Even though it's a mini stamp set, the possibilities are endless and you can match this stamp with other sets. Either an Easter themed, spring themed or just everyday projects. Let's get started!

I use Frilly Frames Dies on Gingham Pastels Paper for the card base. For the inside panel, I make it with a 3.25"x4.5" white cardstock then create three grassy hills and a blue sky to create a scene. I blended some Distress Inks (Mowed Lawn, Crushed Olive, Twisted Citron and Tumbled Glass) on every pieces. The images are stamped with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with various brand of markers. To match the single tulip from the stamp set, I also use ones from Easter Wishes Stamps to create more variations. "Best wishes" sentiment is from one of the-must-have Everyday Greetings and "for you" come from the stamp set called Over The Rainbow. When two bunnies aren't enough, make them four instead. The more the merrier. Last touch, I use yellow gems from Pretty Pink Posh to create an accent to my card.

That's all for today, I hope you like today's card as much as I do. Have an amazing day to you and your loved ones!

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a card featuring Staggered Circle Dies. This time I use the circles to highlight sentiments, it's even more stand out with the bright colors. Let's get started!

I stamped the whole herd from Barnyard Buddies Stamps with Versafine black ink and then watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring I use the coordinating dies to cut each pieces and get ready to arrange them on my card.
I use Staggered Circle Dies on a piece of 4.25"x5.5" white cardstock. I color the negatives with red, orange and yellow use Distress Inks (Barn Door, Wild Honey, Squeezed Lemonade) and then stamp the sentiments from the same stamp set. I blend Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean for the sky, as for the grass I use Mowed Lawn Distress Inks. A red gingham patterned paper for accent on the bottom part of my card and some red twines too. Here's a closer look...

Sunny Studio : Easter Bunnies

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with an early Easter card that shouting spring featuring the most adorable Chubby Bunny Stamp and the coordinating dies. I just can't get enough of them and I think everyone will agree with me.

First of all, I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. I love to add rosy cheeks on the chubby faces, it makes them look even more adorable. After I finished with the coloring I use the coordinating dies to cut each pieces. It surely help me to save time cutting tricky and detail pieces. To create the scene I decided to use Sunny Studio patterned papers, Spring Sunburst Paper (for the sky) and  Gingham Jewel Tones Papers (I use both sides for the grassy hills). The most exciting part is ofcourse building the scene together.

That's all for today, thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have an amazing day!

Sunny Studio : Puppies Tags

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with projects featuring the most adorable Puppy Parents Stamps and the coordinating dies. I made tags with these cute puppies and in love with them. Let's get started...

First I stamped the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After finished with the coloring I use the coordinating dies to cut each of the pieces, I always love the white thin border lines around them. It looks so fine. As for the tags I use Build-A-Tag #1 Dies, combining kraft paper with paternned papers from Sunny Studio is such a great idea. For these tags I use Gingham Pastels Papers and Polka-dot Parade Papers.
I stamped different sentiments on the circle tags and tie them together with a twine. On the pink and red tag, I stamped little hearts and paws with tone on tone technique using brown dye ink on the backgrounds. I had so much fun making these gift tags. Here are some more pictures...
