Grateful For All You Do

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a thank you card using Elegant Leaves Stamps. It's perfect for a fall theme projects or you can also use it all year around. It has both outlines and solid styles of various leaves shape, that's why it's so versatile.

First of all, I decided the color scheme for my card which is yellow, blue and brown. And thinking that gold embossed leaves will look so gorgeous with the color combination. I stamp the leaves around the outer part of my card base. I create layers by overlapping the stamping. Gold embossed leaves resist the dye inks. It's so easy and fun to random stamping all the leaves around. It turns out gorgeous as well. For the center, I use a cork sheet and layer it with a piece of cardstock that has been stamped with sentiment. I also use a natural color twine in between to add texture and horizontal element to balance this card's composition. Then I blend Peacock Feather Distress Inks on four sides, it gives some depth to this rustic card.

That's all for today, I hope you like my card as much as I do. Have a wonderful day!

Supergirls Birthday Card

Hi everyone! Lexa here today and I hope you are all feeling awesome. I'm going to share a super fun interactive birthday card that will be perfect for a little girl who loves superheroes (just like my daughter). This card is highlighting Super Duper Stamps and the coordinating dies.

First, I use Frilly Frames Hexagon Dies on pink stripes patterned paper from Striped Silly Paper Pad and cut the lines along the stitched to create a window in the middle. The frilly border gives a girly look to this card. I want to create a shaker card with an extra interactive movement from one of the supergirl on the left. To create the scene, I use Fluffy Clouds Border Dies and a green hill to complete it. The shaker part is only on the blue sky, I add Birthday Cake Dot Sprinkle, it's super cute and fun! I love the colors. The hills look empty so I adhere some pink and white Clay Flower Confetti, it also gives my card some textures. I use yellow cardstock for the speech bubbles from Comic Strip Speech Bubble Dies. I had so much fun creating this card.

That's all for today. I hope like today's card as much as I do. Have an amazing day!

Cruisin By To Say

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a card that will give you an inspiration using an embossing folder. It can add textures and more interests to your cards or projects. Let's get started!

I use the brand new Lots of Dots Embossing to create the background. I just simply emboss the plain white cardstock with the polkadots then I blend Distress Inks. For the sunset sky I use Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade in gradation, then blend Pumice Stone on the bottom part of my card that looks like concrete or street. I use the most adorable stamp called Cruising Critters Stamps, it has eight cute critters from Sunny Studio in one car. I can't stand how cute they are. I stamp it with Versafine black ink and watercolor it with Distress Markers. After finished with the coloring I use the coordinating dies to cut the main image.

I want to add a landscape that will create a subtle border between the sky and the ground. I use Cityscape Border Die on black cardstock, I intentionally not remove some of the windows so it looks like some of them are dark. It adds more dimensions. The 'cruising' word is cut on the same black paper and I add a fishtail banner to complete the sentiment.

That's all for today, I hope you have an amazing day! Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Hibiscus See Through Card

Hi everyone! Lexa here today to share a see through card using Hawaiian Hibiscus Stamps and the coordinating dies. It's inspired from Jennifer McGuire's cards. The hibiscus flowers from Sunny Studio is sure the prettiest layered stamp, they have couple of other flowers too. Make sure to check them out.

First, I cut a 4.25"x5.5" paper in half. Blend Wild Honey and Worn Lipstick Distress Inks on one part. Then use the other one for a guide rectangle to arrange the hibiscus. Stamp the flowers in two colors, pink and orange with some dye inks. Then use the coordinating dies to cut every pieces. Arrange them on the piece of paper I mentioned above, use a washi tapes to keep them in their places and trim the excess on three sides. Make sure to leave them hanging on one side. After the trimmings, use strong adhesive glue on overlapping pieces. You'll have a see through panel ready.

Adhere the hanging part on the blended panel. It's simple and easy, but turns out so beautiful. I use Everyday Greetings Stamps and copper embossed it on pink paper piece. Adhere it with foam tapes so it will pop out. Last touch is add pretty yellow jewels here and there. I love the bright colors and how pretty the hibiscus are.

Tickled Pink For You

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a card highlighting Fabulous Flamingos Stamps and the coordinating dies. This stamp set has a summer vibe that's so lovely and beautiful. So I decided to create this card with sunset sky as background.

First I blended some Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick, Wild Honey and Squeezed Lemonade to create the sunset sky. I use a handmade circle window stencil to create this look. Many of you may have tried to make one before, but in case you haven't all you need is any circle dies or you can cut the circle manually with craft cutter on a piece of acetate sheet. It's so easy and you can use it again later for another projects, How awesome is that!

I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. My personal favorite of all time. I stamped many flowers and leaves too because I need them to create some kind of frame around the pretty flamingos. After I finished with the coloring I use the coordinating dies to cut all the pieces. Then I'm all ready to arrange them on the card base.
I add some yellow gems on the center of the pink flowers. They look so shiny and beautiful as accents. As for the sentiment I stamped it on the pink fishtail banner and adhere it on the bottom center of my card. I'm super happy with the result. Yay!

Here's the closer look of my card so you can see the details and dimensions I tried to achieve. Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you enjoy today's post as much as I do! Have an amazing day everyone.

Worlds Greatest Dad

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a dad's card using Sweater Vest Dies. But instead of using it as a vest shaped card, I'm trying to stretch out my creativity to create a square one. It's a simple and clean card which is a perfect style for the man of your life.

I use this color combination, dark grey, blue and purple. I cut a 4.25"x4.25" light blue cardstock and a stripe of 2,5"x4.25" purple cardstock. I use the dies to create diagonal holes along the purple stripe and some dark grey diamonds and the bowtie. I adhere the diamonds with foam tapes to create dimension. The alphabets are cut using Loopy Letter Dies and they look so gorgeous! This is actually my first time using this dies and I'm pretty sure that I will use it more often from now on.
I use the blue stripes patterned paper from Striped Silly 6x6 Paper Pad

Here's the closer look of my card. It's easy and simple, I hope you get inspired. Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you have an amazing day!

Sunny Studio Slider Window Card

Hi guys! Lexa here again with an interactive card using Coastal Cuties Stamps and the coordinating dies. I also use Beach Babies and the coconut tree from Seasonal Trees Stamps. It's an easy interactive card but adorable in the same time. Let's get started!

I started with stamping my images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them using Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I cut all the pieces using coordinating dies. I always enjoy the moment I pop out them.. so satisfying. Then I prepare the papers to create this simple mechanism.
Front : 4 1/4" x 8 1/4", score it at 2 3/4"
Inside : 4 1/4" x 8 1/2", score it at 4 1/4"
Back : 4 1/4" x 5 3/4", score it at 5 1/2"

I make a beach scene on the front panel, with all these cuties playing on the beach. Then when you open the card, the image on the circle window will change into water splasing girl. And a sentiment inside, I leave the top part empty so I can write another greetings inside it later.

On the front, I blend Tea Dye Distress Ink for the sand and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for the sky. Beach line is from Ocean of Joy Stamps, and that cute little crab is also from the same set.

It turns out cuter than I imagine, I hope you all love it as much as I do. Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you have an amazing weekend!

Sunny Studio Surprise Party Paper

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a project that highlighting the Surprise Party Paper which is a bright and cheerful patterned paper that perfect for any of your birthday projects. I will try one of most interesting thing from the release, Wrap Around Box Dies. Let's get started!

First, I die cut the box dies four times on white cardstock. It's so easy to build. You just need to fold the box along with the fine lines away from you, except for the diagonal lines you need to fold them towards you. It might sounds confusing, but when you got them in your hands you'll get it right away.
I use the decorating dies from the same set to cut the rectangles for the panels and also for top part of the box. I use Surprise Party Paper to decorate it. I pick two different patterned papers, one with rainbows and other one is with rainbow color diamonds on it. They are so pretty! I use the other sides of patterned papers in blue and purple for top of the box.

To add more cuteness, I use Silly Sloth Stamps and Fabulous Flamingoes Stamps for decorating. The images are stamped with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished the coloring I used the coordinating dies to cut them all together. I stamped the sentiments on a piece of yellow cardstock and adhere them on the box as blocks. I add party hats by fussy cutting them from one of the patterned paper from Surprise Party Paper and adhere them on the adorable sloths. Here's a closer look of it...

Sunny Studio Best Fishes

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a card featuring the brand new Best Fishes Stamps and the coordinating dies. I bet you enjoyed last week sneak peek through the new releases. So many wonderful new goodies right there, a week full of inspirations! So here's my take to create something from one of the cutest new stamp sets.

I start with an idea of vertical aquarium on my card. So I make 5.5"x1" and 5.5"x2" white stripes from a cardstock. and create another 5.5"x2" with a watercolor paper. I think it's been a while since I did my favorite watercolor background like this. I use Salty Ocean, Peacock Feather, Tumbled Glass and Seedless Preserves Distress Inks to create the background. I just simply scribble some of them on a plastic sheet and sprayed a good amout of water to kind of blend them together. Then I put the watercolor paper on it. Yes, it's that simple really.

I stamped the images from Best Fishes with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Inks. After I finished with the coloring, I use the coordinating dies to cut all the pieces in one go. Aren't they the cutest? I love them all, especially the hammer head shark! I also add rosy cheeks and googly eyes on them to add extra cuteness. I also stamped some bubbles with blue dye ink on the background. I want to keep rest of the card simple and white to keep the vertical aquarium the main point of my card.

That's all for today, I hope you like today's post and my card as much as I do. Thank you so much for stopping by today and have an amazing day!
