Lawnscaping Challenge 96 : Merry Christmas

Hi !
Welcome to another inspiration for Lawnscaping Challenge 96, Merry Christmas!

First, I want to sorry you all for a late post. I was on holiday, we went to Hong Kong Disneyland. It was my very first time...so yes, it was super exciting!

This time I try to make a simple slider card using Lawn Fawn Winter Penguin as a main character.
The skating track is using stitched hills by Lawn Fawn dies.

I try the wet on wet watercolor technique for the sky. I learnt it from dawnplus9 chanel on youtube.

Adding 3 dimensions snow using Marvy Snow Marker, it's so easy to use (apply it then heat gun) and love the effect.

Don't forget to submit your works!
And have a happy holidays!!

Lawnscaping Challenge 95 : White on White

Hi and welcome to another Lawnscaping Challenge..and welcome December! Yeay!

I'm so glad it's December already, it means Christmas is around the corner. And this week, I already can feel the baby kicking. Oh I forgot to tell you that I'm 22 weeks pregnant right now. This is my second one..☺️ Heehee..

This Lawnscaping Challenge is white on white, a monochromatic project sponsored by Simon Says Stamp! I Honestly I never made one before, so it will be my first time. I've been thinking so much how would I execute this.

So I decided to use pretty glitter paper from Doodlebug Designs to add another white than a plain cardstock.

I love stitched snowflakes dies from Lawn Fawn, the stitched details are so pretty!! But this time I use the negative for my card..

First, I arrange the snowflakes and joy sentiment on a cardstock, die cut them and layer it on the top of white glitter paper. I was a little bit struggling add the little pieces of cut outs. Hehe..but in the end, I made it! Yeayy!!

For the card base, I decided to use my stitched scallop dies as a border to add a little something for my plain design.
At least, I think it works. Hehe..

Add some sequins.. And it's done!

I hope you get inspired and join our current Lawnscaping Challenge. Have fun!

November Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to another Lawnscaping Inspiration Blog Hop. This blog hop is sponsored by Spectrum Noirs, leave comments on every blogs for a chance winning two sets of Spectrum Noir's markers.

This month we are inspired by Blues & Cool Greys. What's remind you the most of blue and cool grey? I'm thinking about an icy scene..so perfect for winter and Christmas. Hehe.

And Lawn Fawn has the most suitable set for that, Critters in The Arctic. I'm so glad just to think about using that set.
I adore all the critters set from Lawn Fawn.

I used the largest stitched rectangle as the base for my card. I think I really addicted to it.

I stamped various size of snowflakes with some blues I have. Then add some sequins and rhinestones to compliment it.

Hope it inspires you!

Lawnscaping Challenge 94 : Count Me In!

Hi there!

It's time for another Lawnscaping Challenge..this one challenge you to use numbers to your project(s)!
Lawn Fawn has so many varieties of numbers, from stamps to dies. You can choose one which is your favourite.

Numbers can be apply to many many project, for example birthday, anniversary, new year, or just every season card, you name it !

My project for this Lawnscaping Challenge is a Christmas card. Because it's already November..counting down to Christmas! Yeay!

I use Finley's 123 dies on green & red patterned papers. And decided to add some other cuties, the ginger bread man & peppermint lollies from Lawn Fawn Sweet Christmas stamp set.

To add some textures, I masked the holly branches using Ranger's texture paste. You can hardly notice it on the background. Hehe, I wil try to give you a closer look...

And use a corksheet to give it more dimensions. Eventually it works! :)
I really love the stitched rectangles dies from Lawn Fawn, I've using it a lot. And I used it for a base of my card.

Hope it give you some inspirations.
We can't wait for you to join the Lawnscaping Challenge, make sure to submit your project(s) !!

Have a nice day.

Lawnscaping Challenge 93 : Fall & Pumpkins

Hello!

It's November already.. And for that Lawnscaping Challenge have a way to celebrate, create a FALL and/or PUMPKINS themed project(s) sponsored by Simon Says Stamp!!

Make sure to join us and submit yours at Lawnscaping Challenge blogspot.

For this challenge, I just realized that I don't have any fall stamp sets. So I have to think something...and all the pumpkin I have is a Jack-O'Latern from a halloween stamp set.
So I deleted the craved face from it and then..here's my perfect fat pumpkins! Hehe.

The bunny is from Critters From The Arctic stamp set, I add polkadots on the scraf with a white gel pen.
For this card, I create a watercolor background with fall colors. What I like about it, it doesn't have to be perfect. Then I diecut some stitched clouds on vellum.

The sentiment is Finley's ABC, I really love the fonts! Maybe you should have one too. :)

I hope it gives you some inspirations and a smile on your face.
Happy Fall!

I turned the gnome from Lawn Fawn into a santa clause, it's so fun and I lovethe result. Oh and don't forget the candy cane from Sweet Christmas stamp set.

I free draw the white line on the Santa's clothes using Ranger white gel pen. And some clear Wink of Stella for some sparkly details.

But personaly I love halloween stuffs, I just think they are stinkin' cute! Especially Lawn Fawn halloween series..oh adorable.

So I decided to mix the halloween sets (Monster Mash & Spooktacular) with the gingerbread house from Sweet Christmas set. Haha. It's a little bit tricky then actually it worked when you choose the right colors.

I love how it turns.

Hello! And welcome to another Lawnscaping Challenge, more fun challenge every month. This current challenge is patterned paper, we prefer Lawn Fawn patterned paper of course!

Lawn Fawn has released so many beautiful patterned paper packs. You must check them out. I'm crazy about them, they have pretty colors combination in every packs. And sometime the coordinate with another packs too..awesome!

This time I mix Daphne's Closet petite paper pack (the plaid background) and Pink Lemonade's one (the yellow stripe).
And also create my own background by stamping wood grain on a cork.

I stack the smores and add some cute expressions, coloured them with a burning cheek. Hee hee. It was so fun!
Then I decided to customized the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Smore Fun With You stamp set.

I hope you will get some inspirations, and don't forget to join the Lawsncaping Challenge!

I'm swooning by this new stamp set from Lawn Fawn, Love You A Latte. All the images and steam sentiments are just too adorable! And when I think about yellows and browns, I straight away think of a hot chocolate image from this new set.

I go from there and decided to make a simple shaker card for everyday occasion.

I used vintage lace around the circle to give a 'fake' doillies look. Then add yellow hearts sequins from Martha Stewarts and clear round sequins I bought at local market.

Lawnscaping Challenge 90 : Critters Galore

Hello!

I'm so glad that we have another fun Lawnscaping Challenge this time!
My most favorite sets from Lawn Fawn are all the critters series, so I really love this current Lawnscaping Challenge, CRITTERS GALORE!

For this challenge I decided to create a sea scene using Critters From The Sea. Those adorable sea critters are just irresistable, the old set but never too old fashioned for me.

I create a get well soon card which is I'm not usually make. Hehe.. But I think it will be fun.

I create the background using watercolor technique with my Caran D'Ache blendable crayon. I mix various range of blue, lilac and mint. Then swipe a little bit Kuretake Wink Of Stella to add shimmer, it's pretty in real life. I love how it turns.

I add LOTS of glossy accent to the sentiment until it looks like a bubble. And stamp some bubbles using Hero Arts shadow ink.

I really hope you will join our current Lawnscaping Challenge! Who doesn't love the Lawn Fawn critters, right?! ;)

Have fun!!

Let's Have A Toast

Hiii..
The newest Lawnscaping Challenge is up on the blog! More fun and more inspiration!

This time, Lawnscaping challenge us to do one layer card. No dimensions, no fussy cutting. But... You still can do lot of fun things! And I decided to try masking everthing from background to the critter.

I did some watercoloring to the starry night background, add some glitters and glow in the dark dots.
The bear is totally super cute! He's holding a marshmallow and roast it.

Let me show you the coolest part!! Ha!
The glow in the dark starry night. It's really add 'something' to my card.

I hope it inspires you! Don't forget to play along with us..

First, I'm really excited to do my very first blog hop as a lawnscaping challenge Facebook Inspiration Team. This blog hop is sponsored by Spectrum Noir, so make sure you leave comments on every wonderful DTs blog and on lawnscaping challenge blog to win the awesome Spectrum Noir produtcs.

This August blog hop, we are inspired by Pinks & Warm Grays. I personally think it's a very sweet classic combination. So I decided to create a sweet card using my Lawn Fawn stamp sets.

I create the card using Sizzix dies on pink cardstock. It turns out really cool, I love it!
And layer it with various grey patterned papers.
Last lawnscaping challenge, I tried to use some texture paste and I'm using it again on this card. I will show you the details on next photos.

Look! How cute the sundae and muffin go together.. Hihi..

This is a simple card, didn't take a long time to make. Hope you'll get inspired and play along with this color combo with us.
And once again, DON'T FORGET to leave sweet comments for the amazing Lawnscaping Challenge FIT.

Lawnscaping Challenge : Texture

Hi there!

Today I'm going to share another card for Lawnscaping Challenge. The recent challenge is texture, honestly I'm not really good at it. Haha. But I'm trying to use this new media called texture paste by Studio and I looove it. It dries really quick, give a really pretty dimension to your project. Let me show you!

Today I'm stashing my Lawn Fawn stamps, wondering which one to use. I'm lost for a second and decided to create a simple sweet card using this lovely fox.

I use my glossy accent, a burlap sheet and the texture paste I've talked about to create some textures and dimensions.
I think the color scheme looks like fall, hehehe.

Don't forget to join this current Lawnscaping Challenge! I hope my card will inspire you... ;)

Lawnscaping Challenge : Back To School

The latest lawnscaping challenge is on the blog now! Make sure you check their blog and Facebook for some inspirations.

The current challenge is back to school, it took me a while to think what card should I make. Then I decided to make an encouragement card to start a new day at school. I made a shaker card with "school star" idea.

I stamped the background using Lawn Fawn Science of Love stamp set. Colored them slightly using colorpencils, add a blod sentiment and finished it with some marker to create shadows.

I draw the burst, then add some various size sequins. And faux stitches.

Hope you'll get inspired!
Don't forget to join Lawnscaping Challenge, go check their blog.

You Make My World Go Round

Before I start blog my card, let me tell you a super happy news! I was picked to join the amazing Lawnscaping Challenge Facebook Inspiration Team!! Thank you so much for this chance, I'm really grateful.

This week Lawnscaping Challenge's theme is watercoloring. And this is my first card as a FIT...

I usually use Rangers Distress Markers to color the images. And this time I also use Caran D' Ache Neocolor II Watersoluble, it works like a watercolor crayon.

And this is my card...

I choose to mix Lawn Fawn old and 'not-so-new' stamp sets. The carrousel, sentiment and balloon are from Admit One, the little bird is from Sience of Love, the clouds are from Sunny Skies.

I stamp the cloud using distress ink Tumbled Glass on my watercolor paper as a base. And hurry blend the clouds with a wet brush.
And add more blue on the edges.

I hope this card will inspire you to join the Lawnscaping Challenge 86 : Watercoloring.

Good day!

Lawnscaping Challenge color combo: Hello Lemons!

Hi people!

I'm here with another Lawnscaping Challenge, today's challenge is summer color combo. I adore colors they choosed, so cheerful and summer-y.
It makes me think of a glass of ice lemonade in hot summer day. haha.
So, I come with this idea.

This is my very first time using Lemonade stamps set from Lawn Fawn. They are so cute, especially the lemons. I love lemons, citrus scent, zesty flavour and the color!

I use the lemon from Summer Charm stamp set for the background and tiny hearts to fill the gap. Then I emboss the background to create extra something and layer it with vellum to soften the background.

I'm pretty happy with the final result. Enjoy !
