After that I blend some Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feather Distress Inks for the sky and add bright yellow stripes using Sun Ray Dies. As for the green hills and the base card I use patterned papers from Sunny Studio's paperpad collections. I white embossed the sentiment on piece of brown cardstock and has been cut as a fish tail banner. I love how happy this card looks like. Do you agree with me?

Hi everyone! Today Pretty Pink Posh is having a themed week which is Halloween. Yeap, it's already October you guys.. time flies really fast. Is it only me or everyone elses are thinking the same? I actually don't celebrate Halloween here in Indonesia but I do really enjoy making Halloween projects sice I found it's an interesting holiday. Everyone decored and dressed up, I mean come on it must be super fun!

Let's get started..
I use the brand new stamp set called Halloween Pals which is a 3"x4" stamp set that include these adorable dressed up puppy and kitty with their own jack-o-laterns. Super cute! I fall in love with this set as soon as I saw them on the preview. They are stamped with Versafine black ink which is a perfect choice if you are crazy about watercoloring just like I do. After I finished with the coloring I use the coordinating dies to cut all the pieces.

I use the stitched pumpkins from Fall Tags Dies, I cut them three times on deep orange cardstock. As for the background, I blended Chipped Sapphire in the center part and Bundled Sage Distress Inks at the outer part. Dark background to me really adds that spooky vibes to a Halloween card. And last but not least are the jewels, I'm obssesed with them a little bit too much that I feel to add them on every single cards I made. LOL. The new release is super adorable and I bet you'll get confused to choose which one is your favorite. Me too! I'm in doubt of which one should I pick for today's card. People say, when in doubt use them all. Haha. So here I go with these cute critters...

First, I stamp the images from Foxy Christmas Stamps and Happy Owlidays Stamp with versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I use the coordinating dies to cut them all. Just take a look at those fine white borders around them, it makes them pops out more. I use the brand new Stitched Oval Dies for the center part. Then I blend Peacock Feather and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks on the background to create a night sky. As for the stars, I use some silver jewels from Pretty Pink Posh. Aren't they so beautiful?

The blank white part of the card seems a little bit off, so I stamped some snowflakes in light grey to match the center images. I personaly think it looks way prettier. The sentiment come from Alpaca Holiday Stamp, I curved it follow the oval line and stamped it with navy dye ink.

Here's the hopping order in case you're lost..

I cut the acorn base on brown patterned papers from Gingham Jewel Tones Paper Pad, I use both browns to create two acorns with different patterns. I add big round eyes for both of them, eyelashes for one and eyebrows (with the curve line that can be used as a smile) for the other one. I use the same big circle to create cheek blush for each of them. As you can see, they looks cuter with those faces. Don't you love them?
As for the background, I stamp some leaves from Beautiful Autumn Stamp with brown dye ink and some tiny hearts which I decided to color them red with a marker. I also stamp the sentiment from Happy Harvest Stamp with the same brown ink anda some white dots using white gel pen.
