Love Card With So Much Puns

Hello there! Lexa here today with a love card that has a lot of puns inside and out. I use the brand new Breakfast Puns stamps and the coordinating dies. This stamp set will be loved by everyone just because puns are so much fun plus the images are superrr cute. Right?

I use tone on tone for the background, I stamped the images with walnut dye ink on kraft paper. When you can't decide which one will you use for the projects, just use them all! Just like I did for this one. This is also my first time to try the origami fold to create a pop up card. Surprisingly it was super easy and simple, you can find the tutorial on Youtube. Everyone can do it.
I use different colors for each panels by blending some Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick, Seedless Mustard, Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lilac.  It turns out super cute and colorful, looove. All the images are stamped with Versafine black ink and watercolored with Distress Markers. I match the images with the puns sentiments...what a love card with so many puns sentiments in it.

Here are some of the closer looks both inside and the glossy jam on top of the toast on the front..

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you like today's card as much as I do. Have a great day everyone!

SugarPea Designs New Release DAY 5

Hello everyone! Today is the last day of SugarPea Designs new release blog hop. This brand new Better Together Stamps and the coordinating dies probably come the second of my personal favorite. Aren't they super adorable? Both the images and the sentiments are sooo cute. A lot of choices for everyday cards. Not forget to mention the versatile Diagonal Striped Plate Cover Dies, this kind of product will be a good investment since it's timeless and classic.

All the images are stamped with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I use the coordinating dies to cut them all. The fine white lines around the images are so satisfying. You know that a glass of milk always complete the sweet icing cookies, right?
To create the background, I blended Worn Lipstick and Abandoned Coral Distress Inks along with some random water splatters. I die cut kraft cardstock with the brand spanking new Diagonal Striped CoverPlate Dies then adhere it on top of the pink background. To make the images more popped out, I use a piece of vellum behind them so it will soften the background a little bit.

Here on the closer look, you can see the dimensions and how some white dots match the bottle of fresh milk..

Love You Rain or Shine

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a Valentines card highlighting the brand new Rain Showers Stamps together with the older set, Rain or Shine Stamps. I personally love rainy days when the weather is a little bit damp and chilly, it's nice to stay at home on days like these.

Speak of Valentines day cards, I think it's okay to use other colors rather than pink or reds. For examples blue and purple like I did. First, I heat embossed the Rain Shower Stamps with clear embossing powder. After that I blended some Distress Inks (Dusty Concord, Seedless Preserves, Tumbled Glass) in gradation from the darkest to the lightest. And the resist gives a really cool effect on my background. Don't you think so?
I stamp other images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers, the yellow raincoat makes a great contrast with the rest of the card. I especially love the rainbow colors umbrella, super cute! Last step is to adhere it on top of purple polkadot patterned paper. Yeay!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you like today's card. Have a wonderful day!

From Your #1 Fan

Hello everyone! Aren't you glad it's Friday already? Lexa here today with a card featuring the brand new Team Player Stamps and the coordinating dies. This set is so perfect for your man plus you can use it all year long because it has so many choices of sentiments depend on what you need.

Instead of make a standard fold A2 card, I create one with a little twist. I stamp the trophy with Versafine black ink and watercolor it with Distress Markers by mixing yellow and orange to make it looks like a gold trophy. This card is for my #1 man from his #1 fan. :)
I choose red, navy and black for today's card. I love the result. I blended Cadied Apple Distress Inks on the right side and stamp some balls tone on tone with red dye ink. Then I splatter some water to add the cool effect.

I made this card pretty simple, a perfect one for man card. What do you think? The sentiment word is bended to follow the circle's curve.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you like today's card. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Sugar Pea Guest Design : Lemonade

Hello everybody! It's Lexa here today with one more card for Sugar Pea Designs, this sweet encouragement card I took a design from Mix It Up Challenge #39 staring Pucker Up Stamp Set and Spots & Stripes Brights Patterned Paper Collection. Let's get started right away.

I rotate the sketch and create a landscape instead of potrait card. The vertical element are recreated with a pink stripe cardstock, while the horizontal one with the lemons. All the images are stamped with Versafine black ink and watercolored with Distress Markers. I mix the yellow with some pink for the background, I blend Worn Lipstick Distress Ink on white smooth cardstock. I totally love this patterned paper collection from Sugar Pea Designs because of the paper size is a perfect 4.25" x 5.5", standard A2 cards. I also adhere lace trims for the stripe element, it also adds textures and an extra sweetness for the card. I'm pretty sure that this card could cheer anybody up!

Here's a closer look of my card, don't you love the glossy pink dots around the dropping lemons? Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you guys like this card as much as I do. Have a wonderful day to you and your beloved ones! :)

Pretty Petunia

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a super pretty card using Pretty Petunias Stamp Set and the coordinating dies. I got the inspiration from google, I found it fascinating since I never see it in real life. The pink heart shape is super pretty..

Here's how I try to color my petunias as shown in the inspiration picture..

I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. The pink and yellow look so good together, so I recreate the colors for my background using Squeezed Lemonade and Worn Lipstick Distress Markers using Tim Holtz stencil. After I finished with the coloring, I use the coordinating dies to die cut all the flowers and leaves. One of the most fun part is to arrange the flower together. Some pretty sequins from the brand new Spring Blossom Sequins Mix are adhered with glossy accent to create more sparkle to this card. The sentiment from Love Sentiments Stamp is stamped with black ink in the center of the card.

Thank you so much for vistting today. I hope you like today's card as much as I do. Have a wonderful day to you and everyone you love!

First, I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolour them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the colouring, I use the coordinating dies to die cut all of them. Perfect thin white lines around the images are just so satisfying to look at. I'm so in love with Fancy Frames Circle Dies, it adds an extra detail to every projects and of course I can use it all year around. I stamp the sentiment and some stars in the circle.
Let's move to the background, I make an A2 standard card base then blend Distress Inks in Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass to create a gradation. After I'm happy with the blending, I stamp Cascading Heart twice with blue dye ink. It's super pretty like the hearts fall from the sky.

Celebrate with Bold Balloons

Hi everybody! How is your day?
Lexa here with a card featuring the Bold Balloons stamp set and it's coordinating dies. This layering stamps from Sunny Studio has become so popular among crafters, have you tried it yourself? Because I'm in looove with these kind of technique. It's super easy and save a lot of times plus they turn out so gorgeous.

I started my card with a piece of 4.25"x4.25" because I want to use the brand new Fancy Frames Square Dies for this card. The balloons are handstamped with some dye inks in blue, green and purple. First I stamp the blue one and then I masked the balloon everytime I stamped the other ones. I choose the cooler color tone for this card, that's why I also use some grey for the frame, balloon's strings and the sparkles behind the balloons. They come from  Born To Sparkle stamp set, what a cool effect for background! Some confettis are also stamped with the same darker dye inks as the balloons add more festive feel to this card. Last but not least, I stamp the sentiment on top of the card and finished it with the grey fancy frame adhered with foam tapes.

Thank you so much for visitiing the blog today. I hope you enjoy today's post and get inspored. Have a wonderful day to you and your loved ones!

This image is just getting cuter after the coloring. I also curve and stamp the sentiment on the bottom part of the circle. To make the background I use vibrant colors cardstock in aqua and red, the color blocking make the image more pops out. I also use some dark blue twines in between the colors to add more textures to the card. Keep the rest of the card simple and nice.
