Silver Bell Rustic Christmas Card

Hello crafty friends! Lexa here today with another Christmas card inspiration, for today's card I will be highlighting Silver Bells Dies from Sunny Studio Stamps. The details are so pretty and it goes well with so many stamp sets.

I stamped some pretty poisenttias and leaves from Petite Poisenttias Stamp for the background. After finished with the stamping I create some red splatter using the same red dye ink. I layered a slightly smaller size vellum on top to soften the background a little bit. I kind of want to create a rustic look for this card, it looks classic and gorgeous, so I use a lace patterned paper to border my card. To match the concept, I use real lace behind the red paper stripe with silver embossed sentiment on it. The Silver Bells are cut on a piece of silver foil paper, they both are tied together with silver twines. I also adhere yellow cardstock behind the stars. Here's a closer look of my card...

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you like my card as much as I do. Have a wonderful day everybody!

Christmas Home

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with an interactive Christmas card inspiration highlighting Christmas Home stamp and the coordinating dies. Last year, I made a winter scene card using the Happy Home stamp set.. I must say that I was extremely happy to see this stamp set, it has everything to create a perfect winter scene. All the smallest details are so on point.

I started the card with some blending on the white cardstock using Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feather and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks. Finished it with some water splatters here and there. I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them using Distress markers. All the images have crazy details and I love it! I had so much fun coloring all of them.
The card can be slided from the left to the right, it looks cute. I also create a snow hill, adhere it with foam tapes and start to build the scene. What's really important when you create a simple scene in my opinion is how you create dimensions. I'm super happy with the result, I think it's so darling. I choose a bigger sentiment from Festive Greetings for this card. And finished it with some pretty clear sequins, they look like falling snow.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you like today's card. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Snowy Background For Christmas

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a Christmas card inspiration highlighting the brand new background stamp from Sunny Studio, Frosty Flurries and Snow Flurries stamps. And for this card, I'll be combine those two to create my background.

First of all, I embossed the sentiment from Festive Greetings Stamp with silver embossing powder and heat gun. Then I embossed both Frosty Flurries and Snow Flurries, I don't mind even if they are overlapping each other. Then I blend Peacock Feather and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink, the coolest thing about this technique is when you blend those inks on the paper, the embossed stamps will resist. The glossy effect is super cool!

As for my scene, I use the Christmas Chapel and some ornaments from Christmas Home to complete the whole scene. Isn't that snowman the cutest? I stamp all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I die cut them all with the coordinating dies.

Thank you so much for visitting today. I hope you all have an amazing day!

25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hi everyone! Today Sunny Studio design team will take part on Tracey's 25 Days Of Christmas Tags. She has so many Christmas Tags inspirations from a lot of brands. You must check it out!

.
Here's my tag for today. I use Cresent Tag Topper Dies from Sunny Studio, I use the largest one which is 3" wide. Since I'm totally a dog person, I choose this adorable puppy from Pet Sympathy and add the santa hat from Jolly Gingerbread Stamp. This little friend originally bring a heart on his mouth, but I replace it with a Christmas sock from Playful Polar Bear instead. The present comes from the older stamp set, Christmas Icons, just like it's name you can find anything related to Christmas in one stamp set.

I blend some Mowed Lawn Distress Inks for the background and stamp some cute paws with green dye ink. A classic red, green and gold won't hurt at all. It's simple and lovely as always. I use matching thin ribbon and twines, and finished it with some pretty sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you all have a wonderful day. And getting ready to prepare your Holiday's projects.

Merry Little Christmas

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a super cute shaped card using Fireplace Shaped Dies. Everyone will be happy to accept this. I combined the new sets with old ones, you can always mix them together...there are a lot of possibilities.

Instead of creating traditional look of a fireplace, I make it more unique with polkadots patterned paper. I mixed various colors for untraditional Christmas card. The beige for the base, I use kraft paper for the wall behind and blend Vintage Photo Distress Ink on the edges to create dimension. Since I want the fire seems to glow, I blended yellow and orange dye inks on the center.

Little cute kitty cat from Pet Symphaty Stamp was there to make the scene more alive, oh don't forget that little mouse who's trying to sneak out of kitty's sight. The sentiment on top of the fireplace is from last year release, Merry Sentiment Stamp. I also die cut some of the bricks from suede patterned paper... never thought that they will look this good! Since it has gradation color on the paper, it looks more real.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you all have a great day!

Let's get started with my project for today. This is my first time to create a shadow box, and I must say that I love it so much. Shadow box is mail-able when it's flatten and also super adorable to see the 3D effect, it would make anyone's day.

I stamped these adorable critters from Winter Woodland stamp set with Versafine black ink and then watercolor them using Distress Markers. I just can't resist those cute faces, I think this stamp set will be a hit on this release. After I finished with the coloring, I use the coordinating dies to cut them. Perfect white borders always make me happy. I use Scallop Square Dies for the frame, I blend Vintage Photo Distress Ink on it to create a matching colors through the scene.
I created snow hills and start to place the images to build the scene. The foxes are my favorite.

The sentiment is white embossed on a piece of patterned paper, it comes from Holiday Greetings stamp set. I fussy cut it and adhere it on the bottom part with foam tapes to add dimensions. The card is finished with some Sparkling Clear Snowflakes Sequins Mix and Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix. Fyi, I always stocked up the Sparkling Clear Squins because it's really pretty and match EVERY projects or cards you can imagine. Totally a-must-have!

This is a look when the shadow box is flatten, you can put it in the envelope and mail it.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoy the rest of the hop. In case you are lost, here's the hop list :
