Beary Christmas

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate!
Many things to thanks for everyday, every little things around you.

This time I try to make a card without patterned papers. Ha! Struggling for sure.
So I decided make my own.

A super cute bear from Lawn Fawn indeed. And white embossed the candy canes and little hearts then add tiny dots using liquid pearl from Rangers.

Fussy cut the bear and his green bow tie.
And it ready to join Lawn Fawn CHA 2014 Catalog Challenge.

Custom Your Boutonniere

Hey there!

Last week I got a request from my friend to make boutonnieres for her brother's wedding. I never made boutonnieres before,so I was struggling to make one.
Once I got my mojo...I really enjoy the making. Haha!

I made 6 boutonnieres, one for the groom, 2 for dads, 2 for bestmen and last one for groom's brother.

The wedding reception main colors are tiffany blue, peach and broken white. And  I personally think it will be so pretty...love the color combination.
The bride and the groom ask for shabby boutonnieres to match their wedding's theme. I use Crate Paper Hello Again collection.

Here, take a look at the groom's. He is a doctor and love photography, I made a little cute band-aid (I should took different angle to show you the band-aid) and camera's charm.

Lawnscapping Challenge : Polkadots

To be honest, this is my first Lawnscapping Challenge. So I'm really excited and nervous at the same time.

This challenge theme is polkadots, which is one of my favorite pattern. Polkadots are really cute.

My card's idea came from bubbles, aquarium, sea creatures.

I punch the patterned papers with 1" punch hole, then add some transparant plastic sheet to create the aquarium glass. I use Lawn Fawn sea critters for images and sentiment.

And if you wondering about this super cute polkadots patterened paper I use, they are also from Lawn Fawn. Pink Lemonade (yellow dots and orange stripes), Bright Side (pink dots), Into The Woods (blue dots). Yeah right, Lawn Fawn do have lots of polkadots papers..haha!

You also can join the challenge,

An early holiday greeting

Happy Thursday!

It's almost Christmas...oh well, I mean next month. But I already can feel "my most favorite holiday season" from now on. Or maybe from last month? Haha. I am not sure, because I really can't wait until Christmas to share my jolly mood.

I made this fold up card, the images (ginger bread house, ginger bread man, trees) using Lawn Fawn Sweet Christmas, sentiment using CC Designs Christmas Card Verse and Paper Smooches Simply Said. Papers from October Afternoon Make It Merry.

Stamp.. And more stamping

Recently I become so addicted with layering my stamps, adding backgroud, anf more stamping. It is so fun! You should try it too.
My most favorite brand is Penny Black Inc, I'm so in love with their critters. They are too adorable. Oh have I mentioned that I'm an animal person? So yes, i really really love animals or any critters stamps.

Here, take a look what I made.

The scene before I colored it.

And this is the finished result. I really like the giant mushrooms background from Magnolia. It makes the scene turned into "fairy"-ish wonderland.

And here another one. Isn't the bunny look very adorable? :)

I used Distress Markers from Ranger Company for coloring. I love the water color effect.

I might post the tutorial of this layering stamps later, if you want it.

Should I?

I made this layout for Doodle Bug's DT call. I keep re-arranging this layout, thinking is it good enough?
I really love Doodle Bug Design, the colors always so bright and all cute creatures are so adorable. I wish I could make it. Fingers crossed.
And here it is... A sneak for you!

I used Flower Box series, and add some glitter stickers (also from Doodle Bug Designs) the colors match my daughter, Joylynn, first birtday party months ago.

And many projects to make.. 2 weeks to go!
