Sunny Studio : Rustic Winter Card

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a Christmas card that highlighting the brand new Rustic Winter Dies. It's so beautiful with three layered birch trees and the deers are so darling. This dies is perfect if you want to create same cards multiple times, so simple and easy.

I started my card with the background, I want to make a starry night sky by blending Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks all over the base and splatter some water to create the stars. I also add some silver sparkle using Wink of Stella, my oldies but still goodies. I use different cardstock colors for each elemets. As for the birch trees, I layered kraft cardstock behind the white ones.
To create the snow hill I use Woodland Borders Die and I love those faux stitches so much. I adhered the elements both with glue and foamtapes to create dimensions. To match the red birds on my card, I decided to have red borders around my card using the red stripes patterned paper from Striped Silly 6x6 Paper Pad. The sentiment is from Alpaca Holiday Stamps that's stamped on the same patterned paper.

I love how easy and pretty this card turns out. Without any coloring, you can make tons of this design for your family and friends this Christmas. I hope you like today's inspiration and thank you so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Sunny Studio : Dad Sweater Card

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a monochrome dad card using the brand new Sweater Vest Dies which is perfect for both masculine and holiday theme shaped cards. All you have to do is choose the color combination. Let's get started..

I cut the base Sweater Vest on a blue diamond patterned paper from Gingham Jewel Tones collection on both sides. You can choose which one you prefer, a crew neck or a V-neck like mine. I add a cute blue bow tie to complete the look. I also decided to cut some alphabets die cut to spell "DAD" on the front. It's super easy and simple, perfect for your man. I can't wait to try this die cut for another projects too. A shaped card always look sophisticated without trying too much. Don't you all agree with me?

I really hope you like today's card, thank you so much for stopping by today.
Have a wonderful day!

Sunny Studio : Happy Owlidays

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a holiday card featuring the brand new Happy Owlidays Stamps and the coordinating dies. I'm head over heels over this set, with three adorable owls and all the punny sentiments no once can resist this one. Let's get started right away...
First, I stamped all the images with Versafine ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. I can't decide which one is my favorite so I use three of them together in one card. As I want to play with patterned paper today, I color the owls with candy colors that coordinate well with Holiday Cheer 6x6 Paper Pad. I create a little scene with the blue snowflakes background with the colorful stripes as accents. One of the owl looks like popped out of a gift box, isn't he so adorable? Some ornaments are hanging on a snowy tree branch. Of course I won't forget the jewels from Pretty Pink Posh to add sparkle to my holidays card. Since I always love puns I'm super excited with this Happy Owlidays Stamps, I have a lot of choices! Yay!

That's all for today, thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you all have an amazing day!

Pretty Pink Posh Halloween Week

Hi everyone! Today Pretty Pink Posh is having a themed week which is Halloween. Yeap, it's already October you guys.. time flies really fast. Is it only me or everyone elses are thinking the same? I actually don't celebrate Halloween here in Indonesia but I do really enjoy making Halloween projects sice I found it's an interesting holiday. Everyone decored and dressed up, I mean come on it must be super fun!

Let's get started..
I use the brand new stamp set called Halloween Pals which is a 3"x4" stamp set that include these adorable dressed up puppy and kitty with their own jack-o-laterns. Super cute! I fall in love with this set as soon as I saw them on the preview. They are stamped with Versafine black ink which is a perfect choice if you are crazy about watercoloring just like I do. After I finished with the coloring I use the coordinating dies to cut all the pieces.

I use the stitched pumpkins from Fall Tags Dies, I cut them three times on deep orange cardstock. As for the background, I blended Chipped Sapphire in the center part and Bundled Sage Distress Inks at the outer part. Dark background to me really adds that spooky vibes to a Halloween card. I also stamped some bats from the older stamp set called Halloween Friends with black dye ink. After I finished preparing all the elements I want, I start to arrange them all together. And last but not least are the jewels, I'm obssesed with them a little bit too much that I feel to add them on every single cards I made. LOL. Today I use the pretty Blue Lagoon Jewels that perfectly match today's card color combo.

That's all for today. And don't forget that Pretty Pink Posh is having 15% DISCOUNT on all items in their Halloween section! Don't miss it you guys, go put them in your cart before it's ended.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Sunny Studio : Eskimo Kisses

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a card that highlighting the brand new mini Eskimo Kisses Stamp Set and the coordinating dies. This stamp set is so cute and goes well with a lot of Sunny Studio previous winter set as for today's card I will the older Polar Playmates Stamp to give those little eskimos a buddy. Let's get started right away..

First, I stamped my images with a black Versafine ink and watercolor them using Distress Markers. I already knew that I need to use the igloo to complete my scene, they just belong together. Don't you think so? And a cute seal is the perfect buddy for them. After I finished with the coloring I cut all of the images using the coordinating dies. To create a snow hill I use Woodland Borders Dies that have a pretty stiched look on both side. I blended Worn Lipstick Distress Ink on the top part that will be the sky and just a tiny bit of Tumbled Glass Distress Ink along the edges of my snow hill.

I adhered both parts together on a card base and stamped various size snowflakes from Polar Playmates Stamp with pink dye ink. The "eskimo kisses" sentiment is stamped on a blue cardstock which I cut into a fish tail banner in the end. After that I just happily arrange my scene together with glue and foam tapes to create dimensions.

That's all for today, I hope you like today's card and have an amazing day!
