Just like I did for this one. This is also my first time to try the origami fold to create a pop up card. Surprisingly it was super easy and simple, you can find the tutorial on Youtube. I use different colors for each panels by blending some Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick, Seedless Mustard, Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lilac.  It turns out super cute and colorful, looove. SugarPea Designs New Release DAY 5

Hello everyone! Today is the last day of SugarPea Designs new release blog hop. This brand new Better Together Stamps and the coordinating dies probably come the second of my personal favorite. Aren't they super adorable? Both the images and the sentiments are sooo cute. A lot of choices for everyday cards. Not forget to mention the versatile Diagonal Striped Plate Cover Dies, this kind of product will be a good investment since it's timeless and classic.

All the images are stamped with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I use the coordinating dies to cut them all. The fine white lines around the images are so satisfying. You know that a glass of milk always complete the sweet icing cookies, right?
To create the background, I blended Worn Lipstick and Abandoned Coral Distress Inks along with some random water splatters. I die cut kraft cardstock with the brand spanking new Diagonal Striped CoverPlate Dies then adhere it on top of the pink background. To make the images more popped out, I use a piece of vellum behind them so it will soften the background a little bit.

Here on the closer look, you can see the dimensions and how some white dots match the bottle of fresh milk..

Love You Rain or Shine

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a Valentines card highlighting the brand new Rain Showers Stamps together with the older set, Rain or Shine Stamps. I personally love rainy days when the weather is a little bit damp and chilly, it's nice to stay at home on days like these.

Speak of Valentines day cards, I think it's okay to use other colors rather than pink or reds. For examples blue and purple like I did. First, I heat embossed the Rain Shower Stamps with clear embossing powder. After that I blended some Distress Inks (Dusty Concord, Seedless Preserves, Tumbled Glass) in gradation from the darkest to the lightest. And the resist gives a really cool effect on my background. Don't you think so?
I stamp other images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers, the yellow raincoat makes a great contrast with the rest of the card. I especially love the rainbow colors umbrella, super cute! Last step is to adhere it on top of purple polkadot patterned paper. Yeay!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you like today's card. Have a wonderful day!

From Your #1 Fan

Hello everyone! Aren't you glad it's Friday already? Lexa here today with a card featuring the brand new Team Player Stamps and the coordinating dies. This set is so perfect for your man plus you can use it all year long because it has so many choices of sentiments depend on what you need.

Instead of make a standard fold A2 card, I create one with a little twist. I stamp the trophy with Versafine black ink and watercolor it with Distress Markers by mixing yellow and orange to make it looks like a gold trophy. This card is for my #1 man from his #1 fan. :)
I choose red, navy and black for today's card. I love the result. I blended Cadied Apple Distress Inks on the right side and stamp some balls tone on tone with red dye ink. Then I splatter some water to add the cool effect.

I made this card pretty simple, a perfect one for man card. What do you think? The sentiment word is bended to follow the circle's curve.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you like today's card. Have a wonderful day everyone!
