Friends Are Everything

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a simple sweet flowery card starring Friends&Family Stamp. I think it's a perfect ambience for spring time.

I start my card with a piece of 4.25"x5.5" white cardstock and embossed it with tiny triangles pattern. I use a matching piece of gold foil patterned vellum to add more interest. For the floral wreath, first I trace a circle with pencil then stamped various flowers from Friends&Family Stamp with purple and pink dye ink and some green leaves. It's effortlessly beautiful, after I'm happy with the result, I fussy cut the wreath and stamp the sentiment in the middle. It will take you less than 20 minutes to finish this card.

I hope you like today's card, thank you so much for stopping by. I wish you an awesome day!

Since it's really so much fun, I can't resist to play with these adorable Froggy Friends once more. The little elements in this stamp set are perfect to build scenes, it has everything you need.

I started my card with a 4"x5.25" panel and start to blend some inks to create the scene. I use several Distress Inks, Salty Ocean for the pond, Mowed Lawn for the grass and Tumbled Glass for the sky. I stamp the grassy border from Sunny Sentiment Stamp with green dye ink, the smiley sun and the bee are also from the same stamp set. I also use the bee's trail from Backyard Bugs Stamp, and yes I mix three stamp sets for this card. The hopping frog is actually can wiggle because I adhere him to a piece of tri-folded acetate. I hope you got the idea after see this picture below.

I stamped all my images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. I also add some dimensions with glossy accent on some details. I think a happy card like this will make anyone's day.

The pun sentiment is one of Lawn Fawn's style and I always giggle caused they are so creative! I created the watercolor background with a loose technique using Gansai Tambi Watercolor. Last but not least, I add some gorgeous sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, it's called Friendship Mix Sequins.

Highlighting Sun Ray Dies

Hello crafty friends! Lexa here today with a card that highlight the Sun Ray Dies and I'm pairing it with Easter Wishes. The Sun Ray dies actually pretty versatile, you can try to think out of the box, your imagination is the only limit.

I start my card with a piece of 4.25"x5.5" white cardstock and blend Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for the sky. I die cut the sun ray on two tones of yellow cardstock, I trace the circle lightly with pencil and adhere the rays one by one. It's actually a lot easier than it seems, mine is far from perfect but after I finished the whole card everthing looks alright.
I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After finish with the coloring, I use the coordinating dies to die cut all the images. I always love to pop everything out, the white border around the images are perfect. The grass border on the front is added the last to add more dimension. The bunnies from Easter Wishes are my favorite, they look so adorable and fluffy. Here's a closer look...
