Peace, Love & Joy

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to share my one last card for Neat & Tangled. It's been an amazing month to guest designing for them. I got this Little Angel stamp for a long time, but this is actually my first time to use it on a card. And now I remembered why I bought this one. LOL I mean look how adorable she is!

I create a background using Graduated Stripes Cover Plate Die which is effortlessly gorgeous for any cards. I layered it on top of  blended cardbase. I blended some Distress Inks (Shaded Lilac, Worn Lipstick, Wild Honey) to create a gradation and splats some water after that. A strip of vellum looks like a heavenly light from above, I adhere the little angel with some foam tapes to add dimension.

I heat embossed the sentiment with some gold embossing powder and it glows prettily. I just can't get enough with embossing, the way it melts is just mesmirizing...don't you think so?

Thank you oh-so-much once again for inviting me to be this month guest designer. I really hope it won't be the last time. And thank you for all loves and support from all of you. I hope you like my card as much as I do...have a wonderful day!

From Owl Of Us

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a card featuring some of brand spankin new release stamps from Sunny Studio. I bet you are all giddy up seeing all the inspiration cards that Mendi made, she's amazing I know.

One of my favorite from the release is Happy Owl-o-weeen stamp set, he can be anything..yes, anything! Lots of cute possibilities to dress up this owl into. This time he dressed up as a bee. He's adorable beyond words. And don't forget one more awesome set, Quilted Hexagons, as for this card I created a patterned beehive using this stamp set. I must say it looks beautiful and I can't wait to try another style with this, some colorful patterns will look gorgeous too.
I stamped the hexagons with some help from stamping tool, it really help me to keep them straight and neat. Then I stamped some patterns with three different yellow inks. Two little bees are there to accompany the owl-bee, they are from Backyard Bugs and Sunny Sentiment. In case you didn't realize that the bee from each set are identically the same and facing each other.

I stamped the "birthday" from Quilted Hexagons and fussy cut them, then customized the sentiment paired along with "from owl of us". On this closer picture you can see that I layered a vellum behind the main image, it helps the owl-bee to stands out more.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you like my card and have an amazing day!

Neat & Tangled : Sprinkle On My Donut

Hello everyone! Lexa here today to share a lovey dovey card with adorable images from Say Yes To Donuts stamp set. I choose two donuts with a boy and a girl peeking, aren't they the cutest?

I stamped all my images with black Versafine ink and watercolor them all using Distress Markers. I picked some of matching patterned papers and play with layout for today. I personally think these pink and brown color combination goes really well with the theme, sweet! I die cut Heart of Gold dies in the middle trhough the card base, so it created a heart shapped hole.
Inside the card, I layered the outline of geometrical heart on top of the same pink cardstock I used on the fishtail banner. I white embossed the sentiment in a piece of vellum and adhere it with some glossy accent on top of the heart. That's how I add some textures and dimensions to this card.

To finish my card I add some of pretty pink sequins in various sizes. I really hope you like today's card and inspiration. I will see you next week. Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you all have an amazing day!

Guest Designing for Neat & Tangled

Hello crafty friends! I hope you guys are doing great today. Today I'm going to share one big news that I received an opportunity to be a guest design for Neat & Tangled. Yay! I've been theier fans for a while, so when I got an email few months ago about this..I was going crazy. Haha. I'm so thrilled and honored to take part on this. So, thank you so much for having me this month. :)

I always love dinosaurs. When I first saw all the adorable images from Prehistoric stamp set...I'm in love! So I decided to use all the images and seperate them on two cards. On my first card I use watercolor patterned papers for the background. I like how versatile this stamp set is, I make a baby card for the first one by combining the sentiment from Itty Bitty Welcoming Committee.

Momma dinosaur has two babies, one who's hanging around her neck and other one is just hatched. How cute is that! I also add googly eyes for extra fun. And don't forget to add some pretty sequins. I think the watercolor background match well with all the watercolored images. The trees are there to complete the scene, they are from Lumberjack Love.

I created a birthday card for the second one, the main images still come from Prehistoric stamp set but the 'celebrate' sentiment is from the older stamp set called Celebrate. I white embossed the sentiment and then blend some Distress Inks in Peacock Feather, Squeezed Lemonade and Wild Honey then flicked some water on the background to create some faded spots. Don't you think the bold words match the one in a speech bubble pretty well?

I really enjoy watercoloring all the cute images, it makes me happy. I also add a party hat to match the birthday theme on this one.  It comes from Big Top Birthday, the size is perfect for this little girl. I use yellow Nuvo Drops for the enamels to add some textures and dimensions.

I hope you like my cards for today and thank you so much for stopping by today. I'll see you next week...have an amazing day!

Today I created a slider card with gorgeous flat shaker ocean on the bottom part. I blend some Distress Inks on the background, Tea Dye as sands, Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean as the water, Peacock Feather as the sky. I finished the background with some water splatter. These cute little girl with a unicon floaties is from Summer Friends stamp set, she originally has feet but I cut it out for this card so she looks like floating on the ocean. She is holding a cup of ice pink lemonade on her hands. Yum! Some Sea Friends are accompaning her on that sunny day. Can you guess which sea creatures is my favorite from this set? Well, I must say it's the crab with big round eyes. Adorrrable.

To complete the scene I thought I need a sun, so I die cut the ball from Summer Friends coordinating dies alone on a yellow cardstock. And the white clouds are from the smaller cloud dies from Rainy Days coordinating dies which originally to cut the solid cloud from the same stamp set. For the sentiment, I stamp Hi! from Everyday Greetings stamp set on one of the cloud.
I adhere a piece of vellum on top of the ocean scene and add some brand new Mermaid Mix sequins, it has so much sparkle and so mermerizing. Here's a little trip andd trick to adhere vellums, I usually use some glossy accents for it.

In case you're getting lost, I have the blog hop order below...
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you like my card and I wish you all have a wonderful day!

Flying By To Say Thank You

Hello crafty friends! Lexa here today to share some inspirations for the PPP new release products. Today I'm highlighting Fly Away Friends stamp and the coordinating dies. This set has adorable hot air balloons and an airplane with two cute creatures peeking, a squirell and a lion. It also has a lot of variation of sentiments to go along with the "flying by to say..". This set (with some other new products) will be available on July 10th. I combine some of older sets to complete the scene on my card.

I stamped all the images with Versafine black in and watercolor them with Distress Markers. I've mentioned that I use some older sets for this card, they are Winter Friends Stamp (I used the trees on the bottom part) and Rainy Days Stamp (the solid blue clouds).  I blended Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Inks for the sky, I finished it with some random water splatters. I used the bold "thank you" sentiment from Everyday Greetings Stamp to complete the sentence.

The squirell's face is super adorable peeking out from the biggest hot air balloon. I add some rosy cheeks for him for extra cuteness. Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix is one of my most favorite mix from Pretty Pink Posh, an abosolute must have item! I always have some extra packs in my stash. I layered the scene on a piece of orange cardstock to make it more stand out and subtle, it also matches the orange hot air balloon.

I also add a little pop up scene inside the card, I die cut Picket Fence Die on a white cardstock for the frontground with a brown little bear peeking. I also stamped some smallest hot air balloons with some matching colors as the outside scene. I hope you enjoy my first card for Pretty Pink Posh blog today. I believe you guys will love all the new release! Just a few days to go, the wait is almost over
