Little Angel's Birthday

Hello everyone! Lexa here today to share an inspiration how to use holidays themed stamp set for non holidays one. I use this adorable Little Angels Stamp set and it's coordinating dies together with Angelic Sentiments Stamp.

I blend Worn Lipstick and Shaded Lilac Distress Inks with a stencil to create the background. Then I layer the silver foil striped vellum in the middle, it looks so pretty. I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers, keept all the colors muted and soft since I want to make it looks angelic so they match the background perfectly. One thing I love about clear stamps is I can bend them as much as I would, just like I bend the sentiment to follow the banner curves. This card is so simple to make and yet will make any little angel's day.

I really hope you like today's card as much as I do. Thank you so much for visitting the blog today. I hope you all have an amazing day!

Sunny Studio : Last Minute Christmas Tags

Hello everyone! Lexa here, have you get all your presents wrapped up and also don't miss the gift tags too. This time of the year is the most wonderful and hectic at the same time. So today I will share an inspiration for last minute tags that maybe can save your time or your life. Hehe.

I use Tag Toppers Traditional Dies together with Fishtail Banner II Dies. Attached them to the paper with low tack tape and die cut them at the same time. Such a time saver.. I blend Distress Inks for the background, Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers. After I'm happy with the blending I stamp Frosty Flurries with matching dye inks.
I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. The Gleeful Reindeers are so adorable, and no one can get enough those cute gingerbread boy from Jolly Gingerbread. After I finish putting them all together, now it's time to tie up some ribbons and twines to finish the tags.

Thank you so much for visitting the blog today! I hope you enjoy today's post and have an amazing holidays everyone.

Quick and Easy Christmas Tags

Hello crafty friends! It's almost Christmas day, we are all counting down to the most wonderful time of the year. I'm so busy wrapping presents, baking and all. So I decided to create this quick and easy gift tags to get the presents ready on the big day.

I use Scallop Hexagons Die Set for the tag's base, I use both the frames and the negatives to create the tags. I created ten gift tags in total, so I started with die cut the Scallop Hexagons on white cardstock and pink polkadot patterned paper five times each. For the white negatives, I blended Distress Inks in Spun Sugar on the top part and create a gradation.

I stamped all the images from Winter Woodland and Christmas Friends with Versafine black ink then watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I die cut all my images with the coordinating dies. Winter Woodland currently is my most favorite set from PPP with no doubt, I think I will use it anytime not only for holiday's projects. The sentiments are from Holiday Greetings stamp set which has super pretty font that I love.

I pick pink, red and white for this gift tags. I always find it easier to choose what colors I want first before I start to making things. So I'll know which paper should I use or what color the images should be and everything will be look good together. After I finished tied up some ribbons and laces to the tags, I decided to put some matching sequins to add more festive ambience. Luckyly, PPP has Sweetheart Mix Cuped Sequins to match my gift tags. YAY!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I really hope you enjoy today's post. Have an amazing holiday everyone!

Hello Foxy!

Hi there! It's Lexa here with a card that full of sunshine today. It's always sunny (or rainy some other times) in where I live, so I decided to create a bright card for you all..

I use older stamp sets for today's card by combining Sunny Sentiments, Woodsy Creatures and Backyard Bugs together to create a little scene. I stamp all the images with Versafine black ink then watercolor them with Distress Markers. When you go through your Sunny Studio stamps collection, you will realize that you can combine most of all the stamp sets together. That's how versatile the designs are. After I finished with the coloring, I die cut all the images with the coordinating dies.

As for the background I want it to be solid this time. So I die cut green and blue cardstock with a basic stitched rectangular dies, then adhere it to the 4.25"x5.5" card base. That create thin white borders around it and look like a frame. I stamped "hello" on the cloud, it's a simple and warming greeting for everyday cards. Here's a closer look of my card...

I really hope you enjoy the post and my card for today. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you all have a wonderful day!

PPP Warm Hugs and Lots Of Love

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a winter theme card, featuring some holiday stamp sets, Winter Woodland and Christmas Friends. Today I will play with watercolor for the background using Caran D'Ache Neocolor II.

Holiday stamp sets also can be used for everyday cards as well. I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink that works the best for watercoloring. My style of watercolor is always a little bit loose, I always use Distress Markers and damp brush for coloring. I mix blue and purple for the sky, blend the colors with lots of wate and left some white borders on the edges. I love to create a little scene, it just make me happy everytime I make up stories behind it.

After I finished with the background, I make a snow hill as the ground for the little boy and winter animals to stand. Aren't they the cutest? It probably one of my most favorite stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh ever.

Here are some closer looks of my card. Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix is a perfect companion for this card, it creates snow drops from the sky as well as create dimensions. Somehow it makes the scene look so dreamy together with the pastel color sky.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you guys like my card as much as I do. Have a wonderful day!

Winter Chapel Christmas Card

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with another inspiration for Chirstmas cards, I made a simple yet elegant card featuring Christmas Chapel stamp and it's coordinating dies.

When it comes to create a clean and simple design, I always focus on the color combination and the layout. Today I chose blue, navy and mint as my color muse. I created my own mask by diecut a rounded edges rectangle on a piece of acetate. Then I blend some Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks in gradation, after I'm happy with the blending I stamped the stars from the same stamp set with blue dye ink. The white dots are created with Nuvo Drops, it adds such an amazing dimensions to my card. I stamp my images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. I also stamp a snowy Christmas tree from Christmas Home stamp set to complete my scene. I also bend the "Merry Christmas" sentiment to follow the banner on top -this one of main reason why I love clear stamps! Here's a closer look of my card...

The border on the bottom part is to fill in an empty space, but I still want to keep it simple using the smaller Stitched Scallop Dies on navy cardstock against the mint polkadot patterned paper. I really hope you enjoy today's card. Thank you so much for stopping by today, I wish you an amazing day!

Playful Polarbear Holiday Card

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a winter theme card using Playful Polar Bears stamp and the coordinating dies. What's better than a cute polar bear on your card? Three polar bears, of course.

I devided my card into three sections, die cut stitched hills and blend some Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink to give some depth and dimension. And create a gradation Seedless Preserved for the sky, after I'm happy with the blending I stamp some snowflakes on the background to fill in the empty space. I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. I also add some accent with white gel pen after the watercolor completely dried up. The sentiment is stamped following the snow hill's curves... and I think it looks really cute.

To finished my card, I create some dots using Nuvo Drops aqua glitter, it really give my card some sparkles. Which is alwas needed for holiday cards. Thank you so much for visitting today, I hope you enjoy today's post. Have an amazing December everyone!

Silver Bell Rustic Christmas Card

Hello crafty friends! Lexa here today with another Christmas card inspiration, for today's card I will be highlighting Silver Bells Dies from Sunny Studio Stamps. The details are so pretty and it goes well with so many stamp sets.

I stamped some pretty poisenttias and leaves from Petite Poisenttias Stamp for the background. After finished with the stamping I create some red splatter using the same red dye ink. I layered a slightly smaller size vellum on top to soften the background a little bit. I kind of want to create a rustic look for this card, it looks classic and gorgeous, so I use a lace patterned paper to border my card. To match the concept, I use real lace behind the red paper stripe with silver embossed sentiment on it. The Silver Bells are cut on a piece of silver foil paper, they both are tied together with silver twines. I also adhere yellow cardstock behind the stars. Here's a closer look of my card...

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you like my card as much as I do. Have a wonderful day everybody!

Christmas Home

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with an interactive Christmas card inspiration highlighting Christmas Home stamp and the coordinating dies. Last year, I made a winter scene card using the Happy Home stamp set.. I must say that I was extremely happy to see this stamp set, it has everything to create a perfect winter scene. All the smallest details are so on point.

I started the card with some blending on the white cardstock using Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feather and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks. Finished it with some water splatters here and there. I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them using Distress markers. All the images have crazy details and I love it! I had so much fun coloring all of them.
The card can be slided from the left to the right, it looks cute. I also create a snow hill, adhere it with foam tapes and start to build the scene. What's really important when you create a simple scene in my opinion is how you create dimensions. I'm super happy with the result, I think it's so darling. I choose a bigger sentiment from Festive Greetings for this card. And finished it with some pretty clear sequins, they look like falling snow.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you like today's card. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Snowy Background For Christmas

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a Christmas card inspiration highlighting the brand new background stamp from Sunny Studio, Frosty Flurries and Snow Flurries stamps. And for this card, I'll be combine those two to create my background.

First of all, I embossed the sentiment from Festive Greetings Stamp with silver embossing powder and heat gun. Then I embossed both Frosty Flurries and Snow Flurries, I don't mind even if they are overlapping each other. Then I blend Peacock Feather and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink, the coolest thing about this technique is when you blend those inks on the paper, the embossed stamps will resist. The glossy effect is super cool!

As for my scene, I use the Christmas Chapel and some ornaments from Christmas Home to complete the whole scene. Isn't that snowman the cutest? I stamp all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I die cut them all with the coordinating dies.

Thank you so much for visitting today. I hope you all have an amazing day!

25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hi everyone! Today Sunny Studio design team will take part on Tracey's 25 Days Of Christmas Tags. She has so many Christmas Tags inspirations from a lot of brands. You must check it out!

.
Here's my tag for today. I use Cresent Tag Topper Dies from Sunny Studio, I use the largest one which is 3" wide. Since I'm totally a dog person, I choose this adorable puppy from Pet Sympathy and add the santa hat from Jolly Gingerbread Stamp. This little friend originally bring a heart on his mouth, but I replace it with a Christmas sock from Playful Polar Bear instead. The present comes from the older stamp set, Christmas Icons, just like it's name you can find anything related to Christmas in one stamp set.

I blend some Mowed Lawn Distress Inks for the background and stamp some cute paws with green dye ink. A classic red, green and gold won't hurt at all. It's simple and lovely as always. I use matching thin ribbon and twines, and finished it with some pretty sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you all have a wonderful day. And getting ready to prepare your Holiday's projects.

Merry Little Christmas

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a super cute shaped card using Fireplace Shaped Dies. Everyone will be happy to accept this. I combined the new sets with old ones, you can always mix them together...there are a lot of possibilities.

Instead of creating traditional look of a fireplace, I make it more unique with polkadots patterned paper. I mixed various colors for untraditional Christmas card. The beige for the base, I use kraft paper for the wall behind and blend Vintage Photo Distress Ink on the edges to create dimension. Since I want the fire seems to glow, I blended yellow and orange dye inks on the center.

Little cute kitty cat from Pet Symphaty Stamp was there to make the scene more alive, oh don't forget that little mouse who's trying to sneak out of kitty's sight. The sentiment on top of the fireplace is from last year release, Merry Sentiment Stamp. I also die cut some of the bricks from suede patterned paper... never thought that they will look this good! Since it has gradation color on the paper, it looks more real.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you all have a great day!

I stamped these adorable critters from Winter Woodland stamp set with Versafine black ink and then watercolor them using Distress Markers. I just can't resist those cute faces, I think this stamp set will be a hit on this release. After I finished with the coloring, I use the coordinating dies to cut them. Perfect white borders always make me happy. I use Scallop Square Dies for the frame, I blend Vintage Photo Distress Ink on it to create a matching colors through the scene.
I created snow hills and start to place the images to build the scene. The foxes are my favorite.

The sentiment is white embossed on a piece of patterned paper, it comes from Holiday Greetings stamp set. I fussy cut it and adhere it on the bottom part with foam tapes to add dimensions. Christmas Gumdrops

Hello there! Lexa here today with a holiday card highlighting the cutest stamp set of all, Jolly Gingerbread stamp and the coordinating dies. I love this one to bits. I can't believe that Christmas is almost here so better get started to make some holiday cards for your special ones.

Pink and green lately become my most favorite color combination, I used them on so many cards without I realized it. So maybe this color combination can be your inspiration beside the classic red and green for this holiday. I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I use the coordinating dies to perfectly cut them all. I also add some detail for the ginger bread friends, the scraf, pearl necklace and also cute hair. I think they are absolutely adorable. The smaller tree biscuit is come from last year holiday stamp set called Christmas Icons, which surprisingly match well with this stamp set, and help me to build the scene even more cuter. I stamped some small images on the pink background with pink dye ink to fill in the blank space and a little bit more balanced the whole card.
I mixed some of the sentiments on the set to create my own sentiment, which I'm not really sure what that's mean...LOL but I hope it makes sense. This super sweet scene will make anyone's day even brighter on Christmas day.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a blissful day!

Playful Polar Bears

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with two cards using a winter theme stamp set, Playful Polar Bears. This stamp set is super sweet for both holiday and everyday cards. As for today, I'm going to show you some inspirations for non holiday ones.

For the first card, we have the lovey dovey couple sitting there in the snow. Don't they look adorable together? The Playful Polar Bears coordinating dies also cut the bears' hands so they could hold something from the set. Brilliant! And my polar bear here is holding a cup of hot cocoa, perfect on snowy days. It's just me and my pink sky (again), for the background I white embossed the falling snow from Frosty Flurries then blend Abandoned Coral and Sugar Spun Distress Inks. Looove it. I also add snowy mountains on the background to complete the scene. I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers.

The pun stentiment is really my thing, that's another reason why I love this stamp set so much. I white embossed the sentiment on a stripe of pink card stock and create a fish tail on one edge, I adhere it with foam tapes to add dimensions.

My second card's size is smaller than usual. Honestly this is my leftover images after I did some coloring.. so why should I waste them up? These polar bears are just too cute to be abandoned. Hehe. I create a birthday card with monochrome color combo, which is my favorite color, blue. I stamped various sizes of snowflakes from the set on a piece of blue paper of the background. The polar bear is skating in the snow ready to deliver a present for someone special (read: you) After I finished with my little scene, I adhere it on a piece of patterned paper to complete the look.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you like today's cards. I hope everyone have an amazing Friday!

Hi everyone! Today I'm going to share a holiday card inspiration starring the brand new Angel Friends Stamp Set from Pretty Pink Posh. They are super adorable, I can not. I'm also showcasing the limited release PPP collaboration with Simon Says Stamps, Damask Greetings. This is a show keeper...super pretty!

I stamped all my images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring I die cut them all with the coordinating dies. Each of them have different pastel color dress... untraditional Christmas colors can be an alternative choice. I create the background start with silver embossed the pattern from Damask Greetings then randomly blend some Distress Inks in Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac, Tumbled Glass to match the little angels' dresses and finish it by water splatters. The little scene is framed with baby blue Scallop Frame Dies that exclusively sold on PPP's shop. And the Gold Stars Sequins is one of the must have item for your holday cards.
