The Fruit Salad Stall Card for Sunny Studio

Hello everyone! Lexa here today to share an inspiration with you. I just came back from Bali for holiday, I must say that I'm still in a holiday mood. Bali is one of most popular holiday destination in Indonesia both for local tourists and foreingners, everyone looove to be there. I took an inspiration from Bali's popular fruit stack for my card. I use Fresh & Fruity Stamp Set and it's coordinating dies to create this card.

I start my card with a piece of 4.25"x5.5" white cardstock and blend Tumbled Glass Distress Ink on the bottom part to create a gradation. It helps to create a ground for my bowl to stay so it won't look float on the empty air. I stamped all the fruit images from Fresh & Fruity Stamp with Versafine black ink and then watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring I cut all of them with Fesh & Fruity Coordinating Dies, I love the thin white lines around the images...perfectly cute! After I arranged all the fruits in the bowl, I feel somehow this card looks unfinished. I got an idea to create a "roof" so it looks like a fruit stall, I use the bigger scallop from Sunny Borders and draw lines in between every scallops then I color them in red and white. To matched all the red in my card, I die cut a thanks script from Vintage Jar Dies on a red cardstock nad finished the sentiment with "from the whole gang" using one of the stamp in Comfy Creatures.

Last but not least I adhered some googly eyes on every fruits to add extra cuteness. Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you like my card and have a wonderful day!

Ahoy Matey!

Hi crafty friends! Lexa here today with a card featuring the adorable Pirate Pals Stamp and the coordinating dies. This card would be perfect for a little boy or maybe just someone who loves cute little pirates so much.

I have a patterned paper pad with sailor theme, by seeing that I got an idea to create a nautical look with this Pirate Pals. First thing to do is stamp all the images using Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After finish with the coloring I die cut each pieces using the coordinating dies. I mix several stamp sets for this card, Oceans Of Joy and Tropical Paradise. I also use Oceans Of Joy Coordinating Dies to create the sand hill other than to cut the red crab. I'm pretty happy how the scene turned out. For the ocean I use Stitched Scallop Dies and it looks adorable, it matches the stitched on the rectangle panel. This is a closer look to my card..

And the woodland critters are watercolored using Distress Markers, my favorite coloring tools. I adore this stamp set so much! And I must say that I'm pretty happy with this card.

A Little Birdies Told Me It's Your Birthday

Hello everyone! Lexa here with a super fun and sunny shaker card starring the adorable A Bird's Life Stamp and the coordinating dies. All the elements in this set are so sweet, little birdies and the bird houses. There are so many possibilities to use this set as I did for this card, instead of hanging the tiny houses I use the wooden posts.

I start my card with some blending, Spiced Marmalade, Wild Honey and Mustard Seed Distress Inks to create a gradation that looks like a sunset sky. As for the background of my shaker window, I use some patterned paper that looks like a blue sky and a green bush. Mixed yellow sequins are a perfect pair for the color scheme I use. I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. I die cut them all together with the coordinating dies after I finished with the coloring. The perfect thin white lines around the images are really satisfy me. It works like magic.

I stamped the sentiment on a piece of fishtail banner and adhere it with some foam tapes. I just bought a couple of Nuvo Drops and they are so pretty, they look like enamel dots once they settled out. Yes, the yellow dots on this card are using one of those.
Thank you so much for visitting the blog today. I hope you have a great day.
