Hibiscus See Through Card

Hi everyone! Lexa here today to share a see through card using Hawaiian Hibiscus Stamps and the coordinating dies. It's inspired from Jennifer McGuire's cards. The hibiscus flowers from Sunny Studio is sure the prettiest layered stamp, they have couple of other flowers too. Make sure to check them out.

First, I cut a 4.25"x5.5" paper in half. Blend Wild Honey and Worn Lipstick Distress Inks on one part. Then use the other one for a guide rectangle to arrange the hibiscus. Stamp the flowers in two colors, pink and orange with some dye inks. Then use the coordinating dies to cut every pieces. Arrange them on the piece of paper I mentioned above, use a washi tapes to keep them in their places and trim the excess on three sides. Make sure to leave them hanging on one side. After the trimmings, use strong adhesive glue on overlapping pieces. You'll have a see through panel ready.

Adhere the hanging part on the blended panel. It's simple and easy, but turns out so beautiful. I use Everyday Greetings Stamps and copper embossed it on pink paper piece. Adhere it with foam tapes so it will pop out. Last touch is add pretty yellow jewels here and there. I love the bright colors and how pretty the hibiscus are.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, don't forget to leave me some love on the comments below. I hope you like today's card as much as I do. Have a wonderful day!

Tickled Pink For You

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a card highlighting Fabulous Flamingos Stamps and the coordinating dies. This stamp set has a summer vibe that's so lovely and beautiful. So I decided to create this card with sunset sky as background.

First I blended some Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick, Wild Honey and Squeezed Lemonade to create the sunset sky. I use a handmade circle window stencil to create this look. Many of you may have tried to make one before, but in case you haven't all you need is any circle dies or you can cut the circle manually with craft cutter on a piece of acetate sheet. It's so easy and you can use it again later for another projects, How awesome is that!

I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. My personal favorite of all time. I stamped many flowers and leaves too because I need them to create some kind of frame around the pretty flamingos. After I finished with the coloring I use the coordinating dies to cut all the pieces. Then I'm all ready to arrange them on the card base.
I add some yellow gems on the center of the pink flowers. They look so shiny and beautiful as accents. As for the sentiment I stamped it on the pink fishtail banner and adhere it on the bottom center of my card. I'm super happy with the result. Yay!

Here's the closer look of my card so you can see the details and dimensions I tried to achieve. Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you enjoy today's post as much as I do! Have an amazing day everyone.

Worlds Greatest Dad

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a dad's card using Sweater Vest Dies. But instead of using it as a vest shaped card, I'm trying to stretch out my creativity to create a square one. It's a simple and clean card which is a perfect style for the man of your life.

I use this color combination, dark grey, blue and purple. I cut a 4.25"x4.25" light blue cardstock and a stripe of 2,5"x4.25" purple cardstock. I use the dies to create diagonal holes along the purple stripe and some dark grey diamonds and the bowtie. I adhere the diamonds with foam tapes to create dimension. The alphabets are cut using Loopy Letter Dies and they look so gorgeous! This is actually my first time using this dies and I'm pretty sure that I will use it more often from now on.
I use the blue stripes patterned paper from Striped Silly 6x6 Paper Pad

Here's the closer look of my card. It's easy and simple, I hope you get inspired. Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you have an amazing day!

Sunny Studio Slider Window Card

Hi guys! Lexa here again with an interactive card using Coastal Cuties Stamps and the coordinating dies. I also use Beach Babies and the coconut tree from Seasonal Trees Stamps. It's an easy interactive card but adorable in the same time. Let's get started!

I started with stamping my images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them using Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I cut all the pieces using coordinating dies. I always enjoy the moment I pop out them.. so satisfying. Then I prepare the papers to create this simple mechanism.
Front : 4 1/4" x 8 1/4", score it at 2 3/4"
Inside : 4 1/4" x 8 1/2", score it at 4 1/4"
Back : 4 1/4" x 5 3/4", score it at 5 1/2"

I make a beach scene on the front panel, with all these cuties playing on the beach. Then when you open the card, the image on the circle window will change into water splasing girl. And a sentiment inside, I leave the top part empty so I can write another greetings inside it later.

On the front, I blend Tea Dye Distress Ink for the sand and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for the sky. Beach line is from Ocean of Joy Stamps, and that cute little crab is also from the same set.

It turns out cuter than I imagine, I hope you all love it as much as I do. Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you have an amazing weekend!
