Lawnscaping Challenge 99 : Clean and Simple

Hola everyone!

Here we are again for another Lawnscaping Challenge sponsored by Ellen Hutson!
This one challenge us to make Clean and Simple (known as CAS) card or project. The main pointis to keep white space prominent as you create!

To make a card and make sure to keep it white, simple and clean is not that easy for me because I love to use colors on my project. But I'll try my best!

Instead of using color combo like I usually do, this time I think more about layout and texture. I use as tiny coloring as possible to keep it clean and simple.

I die cut the stitched circle (from Lawn Fawn Stitched Banner dies) then embossed my white cardstock with chevron pattern.
I hope it inspires you to make one for Lawnscaping Challenge!

Lawnscaping Challenge 98 : Create a Background

Hi there..

We're on Lawnscaping Challenge #98 now! WOOHOO!
This one challenges us to create a background and sponsored by Lawn Fawn.

I love making backgrounds with Lawn Fawn stamps, their cute images could make perfect background. But this time I decided to use an old stamp set, Belinda's Borders.

First I clear embossed the dashed border then add some watercolor to the background. I use distress markers for the watercolor effect..using wet on wet technique.
Then I double layered the Scripty Thanks and add some crackle accent for the finishing touch.

I customized my sentiment to fit in those sticthed circle (from Stitched Party Banner dies set), the decided to add some cute creatures from Monster Mash. I color match them with the background.

I don't feel it finished without some blings. LOL so I add some sequins and rhinestones.

Don't forget to submit yours for this super fun Lawnscaping Challenge! Can't wait to see what you make for this one.

Good day peeps! :)

Lawnscaping Challenge #97 : Winter Themed

Happy New Year!!

It's January already.. I hope your holidays are great! Today we back to another Lawnscaping Challenge, it's sponsored by Ellen Hutson.

This Lawnscaping Challenge's theme is Winter!! To be honest, I never seen snow ever in my life..yes it's because I live in a tropical country and it's sunny everyday!

But, by looking Pinterest-inspired images..it helps me a lot! I've seen so many beautiful winter scene through images. I hope my card is "winter-y" enough. 😊

I choose the little penguin and the igloo from old Lawn Fawn set, Critters in The Snow. I made this penguin hanging around it's igloo while having a glass of lemonade. Hee hee..

I use vellum to create a background then add some texture paste for a snowy and starry scene. "Have an ice day" is from Critters in The Arctic.

I hope my card will inspire you and don't forget to join Lawnscaping Challenge!

Lawnscaping Challenge 96 : Merry Christmas

Hi !
Welcome to another inspiration for Lawnscaping Challenge 96, Merry Christmas!

First, I want to sorry you all for a late post. I was on holiday, we went to Hong Kong Disneyland. It was my very first time...so yes, it was super exciting!

This time I try to make a simple slider card using Lawn Fawn Winter Penguin as a main character.
The skating track is using stitched hills by Lawn Fawn dies.

I try the wet on wet watercolor technique for the sky. I learnt it from dawnplus9 chanel on youtube.

Adding 3 dimensions snow using Marvy Snow Marker, it's so easy to use (apply it then heat gun) and love the effect.

Don't forget to submit your works!
And have a happy holidays!!

Lawnscaping Challenge 95 : White on White

Hi and welcome to another Lawnscaping Challenge..and welcome December! Yeay!

I'm so glad it's December already, it means Christmas is around the corner. And this week, I already can feel the baby kicking. Oh I forgot to tell you that I'm 22 weeks pregnant right now. This is my second one..☺️ Heehee..

This Lawnscaping Challenge is white on white, a monochromatic project sponsored by Simon Says Stamp! I Honestly I never made one before, so it will be my first time. I've been thinking so much how would I execute this.

So I decided to use pretty glitter paper from Doodlebug Designs to add another white than a plain cardstock.

I love stitched snowflakes dies from Lawn Fawn, the stitched details are so pretty!! But this time I use the negative for my card..

First, I arrange the snowflakes and joy sentiment on a cardstock, die cut them and layer it on the top of white glitter paper. I was a little bit struggling add the little pieces of cut outs. Hehe..but in the end, I made it! Yeayy!!

For the card base, I decided to use my stitched scallop dies as a border to add a little something for my plain design.
At least, I think it works. Hehe..

Add some sequins.. And it's done!

I hope you get inspired and join our current Lawnscaping Challenge. Have fun!
