Sunny Studio Birthday Blog Hop

Hello everyone!
Lexa here and today is an exciting day as Sunny Studio is celebrating their third birthday.. YAY! There will be so many inspirations and beautiful creations today. So get ready and let's get started.

The new release is super adorable and I bet you'll get confused to choose which one is your favorite. Me too! I'm in doubt of which one should I pick for today's card. People say, when in doubt use them all. Haha. So here I go with these cute critters...

First, I stamp the images from Foxy Christmas Stamps and Happy Owlidays Stamp with versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I use the coordinating dies to cut them all. Just take a look at those fine white borders around them, it makes them pops out more. I use the brand new Stitched Oval Dies for the center part. Then I blend Peacock Feather and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks on the background to create a night sky. As for the stars, I use some silver jewels from Pretty Pink Posh. Aren't they so beautiful?

The blank white part of the card seems a little bit off, so I stamped some snowflakes in light grey to match the center images. I personaly think it looks way prettier. The sentiment come from Alpaca Holiday Stamp, I curved it follow the oval line and stamped it with navy dye ink.

Here's the hopping order in case you're lost..

There're $25 gift certificates for you to win, don't forget to leave comments and your email on every hop for a chance to win the prize! Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you all have an amazing day!

Sunny Studio : Playful Acorns

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a card that showcasing Nutty For You Dies, it's a super fun dies and it really is one of a kind. You can create tags, shaped card, or cute little acorns for your projects as I did today. First, I try to figure out where the little parts belong to but then I realized that I can make anything out of my imagination. I can't wait any longer... let's get started!

I cut the acorn base on brown patterned papers from Gingham Jewel Tones Paper Pad, I use both browns to create two acorns with different patterns. I add big round eyes for both of them, eyelashes for one and eyebrows (with the curve line that can be used as a smile) for the other one. I use the same big circle to create cheek blush for each of them. As you can see, they looks cuter with those faces. Don't you love them?
As for the background, I stamp some leaves from Beautiful Autumn Stamp with brown dye ink and some tiny hearts which I decided to color them red with a marker. I also stamp the sentiment from Happy Harvest Stamp with the same brown ink anda some white dots using white gel pen.

I'm so happy with the final reslut, I think it's adorable and will make anyone happy. Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you have an amazing day.

Sunny Studio : Happy Thoughts

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a birthday card that featuring Happy Thoughts Stamp from Sunny Studio. It includes so many greetings that you needed in your life. As one of my friend's birthday is coming up, I'll create this one especially for her. Let's get started.

I start with the background, I draw a thin diagonal line as a guide to stamp all the "happy". I stamp it with pink, blue, yellow and tosca dye inks in random orders. Then I use the same pink ink to create some splatters here and there. The balloons dies are from Studio Katia, I cut them in pink and blue patterned paper called Rainbow Bright Paperpad. I also layered the background with vellum to create a softer look against the balloons. The sentiments are white embossed on top of black cardstock and then I adhered them with some foam tapes for dimensions. To create borders for my card, I hand drawn the black lines along every edges. Plus it matches the black cardstock as well. Last but not least, I use some beautiful jewels from Pretty Pink Posh.

That's all for today, thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Let's be honest, I never knew there are flowers called Anemones and of course I didn't know how it looks. So I searched them on Google and found some color inspirations from the real ones. I mersmerized by the blue-ish purple and how pretty they are. I fussy cut each pieces and here's an old trick, use black marker to color the edges and it will look more crisp.

I also add two Darling Dragonflies to compliment the card, I also stamped them with Versafine black ink and watercolored them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I use the coordinating dies to cut them. Nice and easy. They look pretty together, right? Don't underestimate this mini stamp set because it can be used in so many different ways. Let's get started to see what I made for today's inspiration for you.

First, I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring I use the coordinating dies to cut them all. I color the leaves with different colors that resembles fall, shades of browns and oranges with a little bit of greens. The little acorns with smiley face are really adorable. Because I want to create a wreath from these images, I had to stamp To complete the wreath, I also use some other images from other set called Happy Harvest Stamp. I cut the Greetings Word Die on brown cardstock twice and align them together. I had so much fun arranging the wreath, giving it dimensions with foam tapes. And I love the final result, I think it looks beautiful. Here's a closer look so you can see the details.
