Sunny Studio : Everything Rosy

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a greeting card featuring Everything's Rosy Stamps and the coordinating dies. This layering stamps from Sunny Studio always become hits, and I no wonder why. Just take a look at the results, they are so pretty and realistic. This roses stamp is a perfect addition to your flower layering stamps collection. It also goes really well with older stamp sets too. Let's get started because I'm excited!

First I stamped the roses and other elements with the help of stamping tools, it makes the work so much easier especially when I need to double stamp one layer to get the color I wanted. Here the list of dye inks I used for the roses in order from the lightest to the darkest (MFT Hybrid Ink Pad Cotton Candy, Lawn Fawn Dye Ink Wild Rose, MFT Hybrid Ink Pad Razzle Berry, Lawn Fawn Dye Ink Cranberry, Lawn Fawn Dye Ink Walnut). As for the leaves, here's the list with the same order (MFT Hybrid Ink Pad Sour Apple, Lawn Fawn Dye Ink Jalapeno, Lawn Fawn Dye Ink Noble Fir). Yes, I'm pretty obssesed with Lawn Fawn Dye Inks because they are so crisp and have subtle colors.

As for the background, I use the brand new Frilly Frame Polka-Dots and Lattice. Add a layer of vellum behind the lattice to soften the purple patterned paper from Flirty Flowers Paper Pad. The flower's stem is from the older stamps called Timeless Tulips and the Vintage Jar Stamps for the vase. I blend Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to create water illusion on the bottom part of the jar.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you like today's card as much as I do.
Have a wonderful day!

Sunny Studio : Frily Frames Dies

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a super sweet birthday card featuring some of brand new products from Sunny Studio. Ones that I'll use in so many future projects are the Frilly Frames Dies, they come in two styles Frilly Frames Lattice and Frilly Frames Polka-Dots. And I mix them for today's card just because... why not? :)

First, I stamped the adorable chubby bunnies and chicks from Chubby Bunny Stamps along with gigantic birthday cake from Make A Wish Stamps. I also use pretty tulips from older stamp sets called Easter Whishes. I watercolor them with soft color tones using Distress Markers. This birthday card will be a perfect idea for someone whose birthday is on spring. Don't you think so? The flower crown on a bunny's head is so cute, I can't even. After I finished with the coloring, I use the coordinating dies to cut each pieces. For the background, I blend Tumbled Glass Distress Ink before diecut the polkadots. After that I arrange all the images using both glue and foam tapes to add dimensions. I'm so happy with the final result, I hope you do too.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoy today's post and wish you have an amazing day fellas!

Sunny Studio : Little Monkeys

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a card featuring the brand new stamp set and the coordinating dies that called Love Monkey. And yes, there are so much to love about this new stamps! Those adorable little cheeky faces that will be what you need for everyday cards and Valentine's. Other than that, I also use the super fun Staggered Circle Dies on this card. I'm swooning over this new release.

First, I cut the circles using the Staggered Circle Dies and blended some colorful Distress Inks on each circles. Then I stamped the polkadots background using Background Basic Stamps. I stamped all the images using Versafine black ink on the watercolor paper. After that, I use my Distress Markers to color each images and run them through die cutting machine. I think Sunny Studio has one of the best coordinating dies, they're perfectly line up on each images, sharp and those thin white line is just so satisfying.
The most fun part is always arraging every images to the scene. I adhere them using foam tapes to create some dimensions. I choose happy colors for this birthday card. I hope it will bright up one's day!
