Lawnscaping Challenge 103 : Dimension

Hello. It's Lexa from Lawnscaping Challenge Facebook Inspiration Team.

New challenge is up on the Lawnscaping Challenge blog. This time we challenge you to use some DIMENSIONS, you can use double sided tapes, texture, 3D elements, etc. We are sponsored by Ellen Hutson, awesome!

For this project, I used LOTS of double sided foam tapes to create layers and dimensions.

I use Critters in The Jungle stamp set and coordinate dies, the set is so cute. They have adorable critters, as always.. Lawn Fawn nailed it again! :)
I colored all the images using Ranger Distress Markers and a damp brush to give watercolor effect. Finished it with white gel pen for some details.

You can see all the dimensions in this detail picture. I hope you got some inspirations to make your projects! Can't wait to see what you'll make for this challenge, and don't forget to submit them to Lawnscaping Challenge blog.

Lawnscaping Challenge 102 : Distress Addicts

Hello there!

Welcome to another Lawnscaping Challenge inspiration.. This one challenges us to add some distressed texture to our project, it can be edge distressing, using some distress inks, and many more.

For this challenge, I did some edge distressing and add distress inks to my project. But I don't want it to look "dirty" so I choose lilac color instead. Distress inks can keep your project looks sweet and neat. Heehee.

I used new Lawn Fawn stamp set, called Best Pun Ever. This set is so cute..so punny!! It's really great for mother's day and father's day..but also versatile enough to use it all year round.

I made this card for my TEA-riffic MOM, I personally choose purple because it's her most favorite color (she told me she loves purple as long as she can remember).. So I hope she'll love this card as well!

I hand drawn the random flower pattern on the teapot & the tea cup. I just love to adding those cute smiley faces.. 😆

I hope you get some inspirations, can't wait to see all you made for this challenge. Have a crafty day!

Party Grumplings

Hello!
Today I'm going to share my card using Taylored Expressions stamp set, Party Grumplings. Actually this is my very first Taylored Expressions stamp set!
I fell in love at first sight with this one..really one of a kind! Haha. Never see anything like this before.

This stamp set has 5 grumpy animals and I choose 3 of those ones to create my card. I colored them using Tim Holtz Distress Markers by Rangers with watercolor technique.

I hope this card will crack you up just like it did to me! :)

Have a good day..

Lawn Fawn Birthday Blog Hop

Hi there!!
I'm so exciting to write this blog post, some Lawn Fawn friends are doing a blog hop to celebrate Lawn Fawn's 5th birthday!! Woo Hoo!

You can find the complete blog hop order at Jenn's blog :

Here's my card for the hop using Year Two and Year Four by Lawn Fawn then decided to mix them with Life Is Good yo create a beach scene.

First I die cut the stitched circle frame and create a scene inside of it. The stitched hills using a cork sheet look alike a sand, then watercolored the sky using my Gansai Tambi by Kuretake.

I used the largest Stitched Rectangle dies by Lawn Fawn, my most favorite for card base!

Then arranged the scene (the most fun part of creating a card!)
The crab is holding a balloon and wearing a party hat, while the turtle bring him a present! heehee..

Then I personalized the sentiment by mixing both sentiment in Year Two and Year Four together! :)

I hope you have a lot fun doing this SUPER FUN birthday blog hop with us!!
