Hay There!

Hola!

Today I'm featuring MFT THE WHOLE HERD stamp set, it has lots of animals you could find in the farm...and they are oh so adorable!! You also have matching punny sentiments to go along with the herd. I just looove this set from Birdie Brown!

The barn is also come from MFT die-namics. I just can't resist to make a card as soon as I got this stamp on my hand.

I color all the images using Distress Markers. I create the scene, as soon as I fussy cut all the critters and built the barn. This card size is 6" x 4 1/4" , bigger than a usual card I made.

I hope it gives you some inspirations!
Have a crafty day!

Lawnscaping Challenge 106

Hello!
New challenge is up on the Lawnscaping Challenge blog, sponsored by Lawn Fawn. Let's join the fun!

I'm wondering what new technique I should try this time, so I decided a partial die cutting. I use Cole's ABC dies, first I arrange the 'birthday' word and attached it with some washi tapes. Then I create a window for my scene and decided to do a shaker card instead.

Gleeful Garden is one of my most favorite set, they are so cute and have so many elements to complete the scene.
Here, I'm going to share how partial die cutting works.. It's so easy..

I hope you got the idea.. Heehee..

Have fun and don't forget to join the challenge.

Just Fur You

Hello! Happy Saturday!

Today I'm going to make a card using MFT Sketch Challenge. I think it's going to be fun! And I'll make it yellow to follow the One Day One Project theme for today.

I usually don't really like cats nor the images..but this one from Birdie Brown is an exception! The cats are sooo cute, I just can't handle the cuteness.

Here is my card..

Thanks for looking. Have a crafty day!

Dragon Princess

Hi everyone!

Today I'm going to show you the dreamy scene I made, I think it'd be perfect for a little girl's birthday card.
Dragon is not always for boys if I colored it in pink and make it as a princess! LOL.

I color the dragon with my Abandoned Coral distress marker, it's such a pretty color! I love it A LOT! It's not really pink, it's coral (yeah, you can tell by the name)
I make a purple polkadot castle and a shaker star as a background.

I really love how the card turned out, I'm happy with it. I hope you enjoy it too!

Have a crafty day!! xx

Shake It Off

Hi, today I'm featuring MFT Stamps. I make this card for this month's One Day One Project (ODOP) and today's theme is Something BLUE.

So I make this fun blue shaker card using MFT's You Have My Heart. I die cut the banner, it actually the small tag from Lawn Fawn Tag You're It die set.

I color the image using Distress Markers with watercolor technique. I make my own background to match the "dog-themed" with paws and bones.
I also softly distressed my background using MFT hybrid ink (Blu Raspberry), what I love about hybrind inks are they good for both stamping and blending.

Thanks for looking. Have a good day!

Lawnscaping Challenge 105 : Watercolor

Hello!
Today I'm going to share an inspiration for the current Lawnscaping Challenge, watercolors!! I love watercoloring so much, when some people really into copics... I still choose watercolors.

So this challenge is really for me. Yeay!
And we are sponsored by Ellen Hutson.

For my project, I use Rangers Distress Markers and Kuretake Gansai Tambi for coloring my image and also for the scene.
I choose to do no-line watercoloring to create a soft looking baby card.

I stamped the star on wet paper to purposely give it a bleed that will look like it shines. I really love Lawn Fawn dye ink, for this card I choose Walnut for my sentiment.

The finishing touch is to add some sequins (I love sequins to give bokeh effect, you have seen me using them a lot!) and the natural twine.

I hope it will you some inspirations to start your projects!
Have a good day.

Regards,
Lexa.
