Birthday Balloon with Froggy Friends

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a card featuring Birthday Balloon Stamps which is the newest layering stamps from Sunny StudioComes with five mix and match sentiments that coordinate with the large scripty birthday word. I adore this set so much since I can use all color range.. YAY for that!

I pair the most adorable Froggy Friends for this card, their happy faces are perfect for a happy card like this. I stamped the balloons in two colors, blue and pink and fussy cut them so they don't have the fine line around them. Because I want the balloons look blend in with the background. Other images are stamped with Versafine black ink and watercolor with Distress Markers. After I finish with the coloring, I cut the images with the coordinating dies.
I use Chipped Sapphire and Salty Ocean Distress Inks to create the background, I simply pat them on a acrylic block and sprayed them with some clean water. This watercolor background never let me down, effortlessly beautiful. All the images are adhered with glue and I use foam tapes for some others. The sentiment is stamped with the matching blue dye ink  on the top part of the card. Last but not least, I create a pink scalloped card base to match the balloons' color. Here's a closer look...

That's all for today, I hope you enjoy today's post. Have a wonderful day everyone!

For My Prehistoric Friend

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with another card featuring more SugarPea Design's products. And this time I use the older stamp set called Prehistoric Friends, as it's name this stamp is super adorable..the dinosaurs and the puns. Looove.

I create a tri-fold card plus a little surprise inside, it's also a pop up card at the same time. This is my first time create this kind of card, I think I saw one on instagram few months ago but just have time to recreate it. Trust me, it's not that tricky when you try to make one. Create a scenic card is so much fun. I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I fussy cut them or if you have the coordinating dies you can use it.

This tri-fold pop up card is mailable and give a little element of surprise that will please anyone who receive it. It sure is need more efforts but trust me, it's all worth the time. There's even a hidden message said "happy birthday!" when you open the card. I use TreeScape SugarCut to create both the hills and the tree landscape.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I have a wonderful time to be part of Guest Designers for SugarPea Design this month. Can't thank you enough for this opportunity and of course all your sweet feedbacks maybe I didn't reply it one by one but I always make sure to read all of them. Have an amazing day everyone!

Dark brown paint between the peonies really make them pop even more. The birthday sentiment is stamped on top of the kraft cardstock and adhered on top of the cardbase with some foam tapes.

Sparkle With All Your Heart

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a card that highlighting Born To Sparkle stamp set and Sparkle Word Die. I pair them with Tiny Dancers, I know I've paired them together couple of times but somehow I just think they are belong to each other.

First of all to create colorful background, I blended Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass, Worn Lipstick and Spiced Marmalade. After I'm happy with the blending, I splashed some water on it. The sparkles are stamped with various dye inks that match the background color. I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. The little ballerina and her essentials will be a perfect card for a little girl, even my daughter are so excited about this card. Lol.

The Sparkle Word Die is cut on silver glitter cardstock from Doodlebug (one of the best glitter cardstock ever since the glitter won't fall aparat). I also use the smallest Fancy Frames Square Dies to frame the three images from Tiny Dancers. I'm really happy with the background I made with Born To Sparkle stamps, this stamp is so versatile that you can use it for any occasions all year around. One of a must have item to invest for.

That's all for today, thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have an amazing day!

Pretty Pink Posh : Easter Theme Week

Hello everyone! This week, Pretty Pink Posh is having another blog hop with Easter theme. I think it will be a perfect opportunity for you to find some inspirations for the upcoming holiday's projects. Since PPP has many choices of Easter theme products you won't be worry. *wink*

Let's get started with my Easter card. I use Easter Egg Shaker Dies as the vocal point of my card, I placed it in the center. I use watercolor paper to die cut the Easter egg and then color it with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor palete. After the paints dried out, I adhere it on top of thick transparent plastic for the window. Some small size Buttercream Jewels are also adhered with glossy accent to emblish the red flowers. I love how contrast the colors are. You must be agree that these brand new jewels are to die for! They are super pretty.... I just can't.

As for the background of my card, I blended Mowed Lawn and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks for the grass and the sky. Those adorable bunnies (my ultimate favorite of the new release!) from Bunny Friends Stamp Set are stamped with Versafine black ink and I watercolor them with Distress Inks. What's an easter card without those bunnies, right?! :)

I use the cheerful Tutti Fruitti Sequins Mix inside the shaker Easter egg. I just love love love how it turns out. The happy colors and all. Thank you so much for stopping by today, don't forget to leave me some loves if you like this card as much as I do. And also wait for tomorrow, we have more inspirations and wonderful ideas.. stay tune on PPP's blog.

Purrrfect Birthday

Hi everyone! Lexa here again with another inspiration for your projects. And today I'm goint to share a card that highlighting Purrfect Birthday Stamps and the coordinating dies. If you are a cat lover then this set is absolutely a must have. It has a lot of adorable kitties, even for me who's not really into cats...I can't resist it. Let's get started right away...

I first created the watercolor background using Mustard Seed and Wild Honey Distress Inks. I dab some of the inks on acrylic block and spray it with water. After it has the consistency that I want, I press it on the paper right away. Make sure you use watercolor paper so it won't absorb too quickly. I blow on some watery part to create the lines. It was so much fun! Anyone can do it, just don't be afraid to make mistakes.

Then I stamped the super cute kitties with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After finished with the coloring, I die cut each of them with the coordinating dies which can save a lot time plus it has a perfect white borders around them. Don't forget to add rosy cheeks for extra cuteness. I adhered them with foam tapes and for some of them such as the birthday cake, I use doubled.

That's all for today. Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you like my card as much as I do. Have a wonderful Friday everyone!

Don't forget to leave comments on every stop, there are 4 $25 gift certificates up for grabs (two winners each day). Winners will be picked randomly along the blog hop. Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PST on 3/12/2018. Winners will be announced on the PPP blog.
YAY! Let's get started..

Here's my card for the blog hop. I use some of watercolor technique for this one. The smushy background is made with Distress Inks in Peacock Feather, Twisted Citron, Evergreen Bough adn Seedless Preserves on 4.25" x 5.5" watercolor paper. I layered it couple of times until I get what I want and satisfied with the result. After that, I use the brand new Stacked Edges 2 Dies several times on a repeat to get the pattern and faux stitches detail.

The Cherry Blossoms stamp set is super gorgeous! It's just that easy to make something beautiful with this set, one of the must have. I paired it with  Hummingbird Thanks stamp. I got help from Google to find out the real hummingbirds' colors as the references. Loose watercolor technique is perfect for them, don't you think so? After I finished with the stamping and coloring, I die cut all of the images with the coordinating dies. And here goes the most fun part, arrange them all together on my card base. Some of the are adhered with glue while others with foam tapes to create dimensions.
Last but not least, I stamped the thanks sentiment from the same set to finish my card. Here's a closer look of my card... :)

Sparkling Tiny Dancers

Hey guys! Lexa here today with a card that highlighting Tiny Dancers Stamps and the coordinating dies, I mix it with other stamps and dies collection too. Let's get started right away..

I just can't get enough of this Tiny Dancers, they are the cutest! You must knew it by how often I use them on my cards. I stamped each of them with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I use the coordinating dies to die cut the images. Never forget to add more glitters on their tutus with some Stickles. I got a better idea than using patterned paper as my background, I make one with Quilted Hexagons Stamps. First I stamped the dashed quide lines with espresso dye ink and fill in each hexagons with different patterns. You can match each hexagons with your own color palette... just how wonderful that is.

I framed each ballerinas with Fancy Frames Square Dies and create the backgrounds using Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick, Evergreen Bough and Spiced Marmalade. I use silver foiled paper to die cut the Sparkle Word Die and add some glitter to add more spark. The sentiment to complete my card is from Born To Sparkle Stamps. Last but not least, I add some flat clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh here and there. I'm so happy with the result, it's colorful and encouraging at the same time.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you like today's inspiration as much as I do. Have a wonderful day everyone!
