TAWS Sneak Peek Day 3

Hola friends!

I'm showcasing The Alley Way Stamps new release sneak peek day 3, this set is called Waddle Pals. It has two size of penguins, for this card I use smaller ones.  I created snow hills scene for this little guys to have fun.

Both sentiments are also come in this set which I found really fun to mix both of them in a card.

I blend the purple ink for the sky and I love how it turns out. This penguins have different colors instead of black..why?  Just because I love it this way! Haha.

Hope you enjoy today's card. TFL

This month we are inspired by the color DARK BLUE, when I think of dark blue (or some people might called it navy) first thing come into my mind is a deep sea and a beautiful night sky. So I start from that idea.

This is my card..

I create three layers of waves for the boat to sail, and there's a little bird on it. Oh I just love to think a little detail like this. Creating my own story behind the card I made.
I use the waves as flying birds this time. Hehe.
The dark blue patterned papers from Beachside pint-sized paper pack from Lawn Fawn are perfect for this month's color inspiration. And I thought of a light house from Life is Good will complete the scene for this card, and yellow rays look beautiful on a night sky. Don't you think so?

Last touch is the white embossed sentiment on a black cardstock, so crisp and bold.

I hope you enjoy today's card. And have fun hopping til the end! Just don't forget to leave comments (and your email address) on every blog.. ;)

Here's the HOP order,
Lexa (you are here!)

LOVE - The Alley Way Stamps

Hi everyone!

Today I'm going to share a card that I made featuring The Alley Way Stamps called Flap Happy.
Stamping and coloring all this little birds are so much fun. And the end I stacked them together.. :)

I stamped the "Love" from Big Time using Lawn Fawn Sunflower dye ink and overlay it with Mermaid.
For the background, I embossed the tiny flags just to add little extra something.  I hope you enjoy today's inspiration.
Habe a crafty day!

Hello Sweet Friend

Hello my sweet friends!

I'm totally in love with this London mice from MFT Stamps. All the tiny bits details to create a scene, LOVE IT!
And the London guard mice.. they are too cute to be true.

When it comes to making cards, the first thing come into my mind is the color combo I will use (except the concept)
And that's what makes me happy, colors!

I watercolored all the images, put them together.. It's just that simple. So easy to make a card look cute if you have this super adorable images.

I made a watercolor background using Distress Ink Blue Print, i love the purplish blue (I'm not sure that even a color name.LOL)
Agter that, I stamped the Swiss Polkadot Background from MFT Stamps for extra fun.

And... I was chosen as one of TOP 10 Card Design Superstar contest!! I'm so honored and thrilled.

Thanks for looking! ;)

Aloha

Hi everyone!

This is my second card for MFT Superstar Card Design contest. I made a summer-y and tropical shaker card this time, a cork sheet as the card base.

MFT hybrid inks are just perfect for the sunset color background. And I adore all Birdie Brown's images, they are so unbelievably cute!

I hope you have a good day! :)

Lawnscaping Challenge 114 : One Layer

Hi there crafty friends!

I'm back for another Lawnscaping Challenge, sponsored by Lawn Fawn. Yeay!

Do you agree that sometimes simplicity is beautiful? Let's try one layer card for this challenge. Minimal embellishments, just one folded card.

I mix several sets to create this card, the trick is just masking and more masking.. Hehehe. I use the snow marker to add just a little bit dimension and interest on one layer card.

Then I silver embossed the sentiment. That's it for today. Hope you like it. ;)

Lawnscaping Challenge 113 : Texture

Hola! It's time for another Lawnscaping Challenge. This time let's play with texture.

This challenge is sponsored by Ellen Hutson inc. Make sure to join the fun!

Here's my card for this challenge. The dots in the sky, I used texture paste. And for the cloud I used a snow marker, it comes out as liquid then when I heated it, it puffed up. :D kinda cool eh?

Thanks for looking!

MFT Color Challenge - September

Hi everyone!
It's September already, time really flies so fast..or is it just me? Hehe.
Today I'm going to share a card using MFT Color Challenge. I super LOVE this color combo!

These bears from Birdie Brown are so sweet and adorable! It's not a secret that I'm a big fans of Birdie Brown's collection from MFT.
I a lil bit crazy about MFT's stitched stackable dies, the details are crayyy.. :D
So I decided to die cut some of matching cardstocks for  this color challenge, and arrange them together..see how I will like them.

I also use Swiss Dot Background for the white cardstock, I stamp it with Grapesicle MFT Hybrid Ink.

Here's my finish card..

Hope you enjoy this one! TFL ❤️
