Wrap Around Hibiscus Box

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a project using Wrap Around Gift Box Dies along with other products of Sunny Studio Stamps.

I use deep purple cardstock for the base of my box then add some decoration around it. On two sides, I add chevron pattern using Frilly Frames Chevron Dies with purple patterned paper from Gingham Pastel Paper. On two other sides, I use pink gingham patterned paper from the same pad. I blend Worn Lipstick Distress Inks on them. Then I stamp some pretty pink hibiscus from Hawaiian Hibiscus Stamps. After finished with the stamping I use the coordinating dies to cut them all. Then arrange them to my box. Look how pretty they are! I just adore the layering stamps from Sunny Studio, I personally think they are all so gorgeous. There's also a little tag with a little saying on it and I won't miss the hibiscus for it.

That's all for today. I hope you like it as much as I do. Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful day to you and yours!

Silly Sloth Split Card

Hi everyone! Lexa here with a card starring Silly Sloth Stamps and the coordinating dies. I tried to make split card, which is simple but super adorable and lots of fun. Let's get started!

I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished I cut them with the coodinating dies. I use green leaves patterned paper from Summer Splash Paper and plain green cardstock using stitched scallop dies for the trees illusion.
Here's the closer look..

It's a split card window on the front. So you basicly can see through the inside part of the card from outside. The trick is to attached the upper and bottom part using the images you will use. Any border dies will do the trick. Or you can use simpler thing like straight lines on both sides. I will give you more pictures so you can get the idea.

I also stamped some hibiscus flowers and leaves inside. And as if four sloths in front of the card aren't enough, I'll add two more. Just because they are so cute and it gives you an element of surprise.

That's all for today, I hope you like today's card as much as I do. And I would recommend you to give this a try. Have a wonderful day!

Hello Flamingos!

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a card that highlighting the Frilly Frame Chevron Dies and Frilly Frame Stripes Dies. Instead of using just one, I mix up the stripes and chevron dies together in this card. They look so good together, right? Along with the flamingos from Fabulous Flamingos Stamp and the coordinating dies. Let's get started!

I started with cut the pretty pink patterned paper from Summer Splash Paper with Frilly Frame Chevron  Dies for the inside and Frilly Frame Stripe Dies for the outside part. I layered it on a 4.25"x5.5" dark purple card base. The contrast between two create a beautiful background.
I use white oval behind the flamingos use Stitched Oval Dies, it lets the flamingos pop out more as center images. I stamped the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. I use almost every elements from Fabulous Flamingos Stamp just because they are too pretty. I add yellow jewels on center of the flowers to add dimensions, then arrange them as a curve below two flamingos.

That's all for today, I hope you like today's card as much as I do. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have an amazing day everyone!

Slice of Summer

Hi everyone! Lexa here today to share a summer card using Slice of Summer Stamps and the coordinating dies. It creates the most juicy summer fruits layering stamp, they are honestly good enough to eat. You'll love it since it has offer you many choices of sentiment to match your projects. I have mine pair up with the older stamp set called Berry Bliss to add more fruits and colors.

I started my card with masking the card base using purple tape from TOW to create stripes. Then I blend Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral and Squeezed Lemonade. I'm in love with the result the moment I peeled off the tapes. I stamped the images with various dye inks. Then I use the coordinating dies to cut them all. All the images are adhered both with glue and foam tapes to create some dimensions. To balance the layout, the fruits are aranged in horizontal line while the background is vertical. The bright colors absolutely scream summer, don't you think so? "Thank you" sentiment is from Everyday Greeting Stamps. It's stamped with Versafine black ink and I add transparent embossing powder to create shine. Here's the colser look of my card.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Sunny Studio Surprise Party Paper

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a project that highlighting the Surprise Party Paper which is a bright and cheerful patterned paper that perfect for any of your birthday projects. I will try one of most interesting thing from the release, Wrap Around Box Dies. Let's get started!

First, I die cut the box dies four times on white cardstock. It's so easy to build. You just need to fold the box along with the fine lines away from you, except for the diagonal lines you need to fold them towards you. It might sounds confusing, but when you got them in your hands you'll get it right away.
I use the decorating dies from the same set to cut the rectangles for the panels and also for top part of the box. I use Surprise Party Paper to decorate it. I pick two different patterned papers, one with rainbows and other one is with rainbow color diamonds on it. They are so pretty! I use the other sides of patterned papers in blue and purple for top of the box.

To add more cuteness, I use Silly Sloth Stamps and Fabulous Flamingoes Stamps for decorating. The images are stamped with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished the coloring I used the coordinating dies to cut them all together. I stamped the sentiments on a piece of yellow cardstock and adhere them on the box as blocks. I add party hats by fussy cutting them from one of the patterned paper from Surprise Party Paper and adhere them on the adorable sloths. Here's a closer look of it...

Thank you so much for stoping by today. I hope you like today's post as much as I do. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Sunny Studio Best Fishes

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a card featuring the brand new Best Fishes Stamps and the coordinating dies. I bet you enjoyed last week sneak peek through the new releases. So many wonderful new goodies right there, a week full of inspirations! So here's my take to create something from one of the cutest new stamp sets.

I start with an idea of vertical aquarium on my card. So I make 5.5"x1" and 5.5"x2" white stripes from a cardstock. and create another 5.5"x2" with a watercolor paper. I think it's been a while since I did my favorite watercolor background like this. I use Salty Ocean, Peacock Feather, Tumbled Glass and Seedless Preserves Distress Inks to create the background. I just simply scribble some of them on a plastic sheet and sprayed a good amout of water to kind of blend them together. Then I put the watercolor paper on it. Yes, it's that simple really.

I stamped the images from Best Fishes with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Inks. After I finished with the coloring, I use the coordinating dies to cut all the pieces in one go. Aren't they the cutest? I love them all, especially the hammer head shark! I also add rosy cheeks and googly eyes on them to add extra cuteness. I also stamped some bubbles with blue dye ink on the background. I want to keep rest of the card simple and white to keep the vertical aquarium the main point of my card.

That's all for today, I hope you like today's post and my card as much as I do. Thank you so much for stopping by today and have an amazing day!
